weird, but no discernible pattern, except from the fact that it seems to happen at 10 to 11:30, ignoring the first crash of the 26th.

Just one that I wrote myself so I can have logs, adjust timeout and recheck connection as often as I want. I can set it to beep or make a noise or even text me whenever a ch is down/up.

Everyone and their cousin do not need to be hitting every single server and channel simultaneously.

You think the game lags now, imagine that being widespread. It may as well be a DDOS.

true, the hamster that runs nexon's servers won't be able to take it i'm sure.

speaking of, eos, would there be a way to make your tracker log every time a channel goes down (i.e. red)? note: i only ask if it's possible, and what repercussions it would have, nothing beyond that.

It's doable and I've considered it, and possible making each individual status icon into a clickable history, but I'm not really sure there's a benefit.
There's also the question of whether it needs the corresponding 'up' ot make it relevant.

The other thing I was thinking was displaying average uptime (eg. % of last 48 hours up)

Not sure how to work scheduled server checks into that though. Might still be useful comparatively between servers though.

all i wanted to know, thanks. the clickable history sounds pretty neat actually, only benefit would be to see what hackers are up to really, which doesn't serve much purpose as you said.

Servers up means the patch is installed and now they're doing "sanity checks" on it.
Could go fast and smooth, and finish early, or could discover some serious problem and extend 2 hours (but not tell us yet).

Is the "As of" time only updating every 3 or so minutes for everyone else? It's always been under a minute that the time refreshes and now it's taking 3+ minutes.

It grabs all my attention for a while but after about 5 minutes I hardly notice it anymore. Guess it'll just be another thing we'll be conditioned to ignore.
