What's the name of the mercenary theme used in the beginning/end of the White Mage book of Grand Athenaeum? Is it used anywhere else?

Would this happen to be the track you were talking about? (link)
That track was included with the Tempest update and is likely used for Luminous' storyline.
If it's not that track, can you find a gameplay video with the BGM playing so I can take a look?

Ah okay. That track would be this one (The Stormy Forest) [link].
The other track is called The Aurora [link], and plays in many maps across Grand Athenaeum (Aurora Temple, field maps, etc).

I thought the same when I heard it! It sounds like latin.. I wonder what is it actually saying
I also noticed the BGMs' names have spaces for the first time (Gravity Core, Gravity Lord Rises, etc.). Is it a mistake, or are they actually named like that in the data?

It's a common programming practice. There are many way to use strings with spaces in modern programming, but using 'file name' is just annoying compared to fileName or FileName.
