Day 5 ends:
Ivory Black Nine was shocked when DualReaver revealed he was the last of the mafians, but a far more worrying accusation was formed. The Onyx King addressed the cards:
Quote:I know that to you I am a mafian scum that has killed many of your fellow townspeople, and I know I am doomed to die. However, there is a larget threat looming over this town. There remains another killer. All of you have strong cases for being innocent, but someone must be lying so today I only ask for you to let me help unmask the one that killed my beloved Black Queen.
The Cards shuffled nervously and some refused to listen to him. Ivory Black Nine watched it all carefully until a decision had been made.

The cards seemed to have tied, until some dark near the back once again gestured for Ivory Black Nine to come over. Showing him another vote.

Ivory Black Nine stepped forward with his specisal scissors, but the Onyx King stood up and walked over to the surrounded card. Though he cried out that he was innocent, the Onyx King would have none of it.

After saying so, the Onyx King swung his axe down and cut off the Card's head; cleanly removing it in one fell swoop. Ivory Black Nine, considerably more wary of said killers about after said display, immediately examined Darkmaniak's body.

The Onyx King let out a roar of frustration, thwarted again from removing the other killer. Ivory Black Nine was grim, but there was nothing to be done now. All he could do was continue as Inspector Burgundy Jack would have wanted.

At dawn Ivory Black Nine discovers the remains of DualReaver, the Onyx King, brutally stabbed several times until there was a gaping hole where his dark heart would be. He was saddened by it, but searches for any clues nearby took precedence:

As Ivory Black Nine calls the other card, he notices a change in the air. It's as if the world has lots some of it's cheer. Somehow he didn't think today was going to be the town's lucky day. However he kept his doubts to himself and worked on getting the remaining Cards pumped up.

After some discussion, the town decided it was better not to lynch anyone today. It wasn't without some rather wild early votes, but in the end, they left it up to the night to decide things. Also, Ivory Black Nine observed MetaSeraphim returned a bit bruised and dizzy, but otherwise fine at the end of the day.

A new day had dawned on Deckton, the first truly bright and cheery day in a while. Ivory Black Nine felt like everything was finally over. He had discovered the knifed corpse of KajitiSouls earlier, but not far away was the dead body of the MetaSeraphim. It seemed as though Blaine, better known as Flaming Red Four, had taken him out by impaling him. Though he seemed a bit off in the head, like he had no idea what the hell he was doing. Mauve Three and Arsenic Ten joined them nearby. After a time, Ivory Black Nine spoke to the assembled Cards.
Quote:Finally, finally it is over. Now all the innocent cards rest in peace. It has been a hard won battle, and truly we were lucky throughout it. Let us hope and pray that never again will a menace like this come to Deckton.
