Dropping? As in, a random monster drop from non-quest monsters?

Either way, it won't be easy to get, and even if it is, we have no way of knowing whether the maps will be accessible after stage 4 is over. In other words, I could go through the hassle of upgrading my suit all the way, waste what little time I have playing maple (school just started), and still end up with nothing to show for it.

... unless you count a crappy mount that expires soon.

I do HPQ. xD The PQ monsters there drop the cameras and chips there too, so it's like killing two birds with one stone. Smile

@ Herborist, probably dropping from aliens or from that PQ (both inside the mothership). It's my best guess, reading from the Tespia extraction about the powder and different kinds of Crystanol.

Wrong. I'm level 71 and my Helmet changed into Visitor at +3. My others are still +2, so I don't know if they all will change at +3 or not.

All STR Cores, still no change.

By the way, has anyone seen a Brawler/Bully Alien? I want to kick one's ass.

It would appear that the amount of starting medals you get after getting your suit is dependant on your level.

8x Ranger = 5xx medals
12x Night Lord guildie = 1xxx medals

Also, there's a quest in which you track someone down and fame them. This event also seems to heavily favor classes that can inflict multiple hits at a time.

Yeah, classes that hit more than once have an advantage. I've been doing it on a low level archer, so I just have double shot. Can't hit mobs, can't hit short range except with punches... pretty annoying.

Also, level 16~19 Archer (kinda leveled while doing quests) -
315 medals getting the suit.
16 medals doing the 4 quests.
3 medals doing the fame quest.
1 medal doing the log-on-for-a-hour-quest.

The +1 slot for 50 medals thing looks like that... I guess we can just keep upgrading these things til the event ends. Anyone run into a cap on the number of slots you can add like this?



Can anyone confirm that the set bonuses don't care if you mix and match? I think I'll make a couple of my pieces INT and a couple STR, depending how useful they'd be as such. But that "don't take damage from the cube" thing sounds useful.

So, can someone in a more organised list tell me what gives medals, what gives what amount of medals, how many medals per inventory slot, and limit on how many times you can obtain a medal through a certain method? If the power to turn it perma, this could potentially be the best costume set ever scroll-able for a lot of people. Not only does it not require millions upon millions of mesos, it can be customized to whatever the hell you want it to be: want all stats? scroll for everything. want 30+ str, 20+dex robe? why not? Infintely scrollable? Hell yeah!

Of course this will make serveral people cry if the perma extend requoirement is extremely ridiculous.

1) Quest after obtaining the full Level 0 armor set: 5xx medals as an 8x Archer. Seems to be a one time only thing. Obtaining the armor is also a pre-requisite for the next three quests below.
2) Quest in which you track someone down and fame them: I think it gave me 4 medals. Daily quest.
3) Quest in which you have to complete any party quest: 4 medals. Daily quest.
4) Series of four quests that you have to complete: 24 medals. You have to do all four to recieve the medals. Repeatable three times a day.
5) Stay logged in for one hour: 1 medal. Daily quest.

So far, I have about 600 medals, and they're all in one slot.

Maximum number of OSSS medals in 1 slot is 1000.

@ Erich, you can do the 5 OSSS Researcher quests 3 times a day for medals every time, as well as a quest to fame someone, a quest to clear a Party Quest, and log an hour into the OSSS Timer daily. The number of medals you get as a reward are level dependent (except for the Timer quest, as that only gives you one). As for the Medals themselves...

Just wanted to add; on at least the level 30-ish level range set, you are not "required" to use the same stat core to get it to change. Did it on my lvl 30 beginner and it took whatever core I used first as the type to turn into. AKA, 1 luck, then 1 str turned it into the luck one. Uncertain how this would work with the higher leveled ones. It didn't really matter on that character since it seems unlikely I'd be able to complete the perma portion on a beginner in the first place with all the untradable stuff.

Also, I was thinking about trying to leave the suit as the bing suit by doing different stats, but my above observations leads me to believe otherwise. Also, seeing that visitor set thing leads me to believe that a full visitor suit would be needed for part 3 or 4 making this highly difficult (time-consuming) for the level 120+ crowd. Oh, and visitor equips of different types still count towards the set if anyone was wondering; also learned that from the beginner.

Not really. 120+'s get 1260 medals, and get 60 medals from each mission they complete. Except for the Maple Admin one.

I bet they got a whole [SIZE="2"]S[/SIZE]hitload of Nx from the runners and the cubes they used to make their game breaking equips to play favorites.
