That would give us a fair idea of what to expect of at the very least average funded ele wand users compared to normal players. You'd be a damn fool to choose bowman or any ranged classes HP over typical mage setup. Edit: Take into consideration that you even HAVE the option to use or not use MG. Ranged classes get no choice in the matter, our HP just sucks period and obviously we get no defensive skills to compensate. Even shadow shifter and the high avoid of NL doesn't really count because if a monster can kill you 100%, then what's it matter if you can dodge a few hits before it lands one? Since every area is changing their quests. I hope to see more cool rewards like these, perhaps one for magic accuracy. It's not game breaking since you still can't go totally DEXless or LUKless, you still need DEX and LUK to equip your higher level equipments for higher % bonuses. I'd rather be wrong and laughed at, like we all are every now and then, so long as ArchMages have something to offer for 1v1 DPS content (read: mid-tier).

About the MG: I don't know why anyone can honestly say MG is over-rated. It's obviously the most superior skill I've ever had as a mage, I'm able to take hits on par with warriors, how is that honestly over-rated? Yes, it does take 3x the pots to make sure my mp is in PERFECT condition(really, it's easy to accidently die because you don't know how the hit will calculate and it's just safer to pot to max hp every hit most of the time), but seriously...I love MG. Considering the level they all require, their magic attack is fair. However, on the other hand, apples should be taken out. KMS's potential system plus these big bang updates are gonna take our damage to heaven, so even the "100% damage increasement" option sounds too broken to me. If something, just make it 50% damage increasement. It would still be the strongest potion in the game so people would keep APQ'ing, Nexon keeps getting money, Now we can stack apples with any other buff or pots, and we all live a happy life. [1.2.326] (4) Really last chance! - Shidoshi - 2010-07-07 The only problems I see when comparing MG to a warrior's HP: -Dispell, no recovery time, you are ready to die at any time. -Can't simply be healed when seduced/dojo -Damage Reflect goes through MG -Stun + Dispell -Seal + Dispell And those are enough to give us some problems most classes don't face. I agree with FrozNlite, we have to wait and see how mages will fare against other classes before having any conclusions on elemental weapons. Also, what is the problem if after 7 years of being the underdog bossing class we are suddenly good at bossing (and without ultimates!)? I have to use a ginger ale every single hit both while training and at high-damaging bosses (or every other hit/3 hits for low-damaging ones), I'd like to think you'd be able to survive more than 1 hit with 75% of your hp/mp, other than 1/1s of course. Magicians are technically ranged by the way, you can attack from a long range. And going off those calculations, if we truly are OP then I support everything you said in your last paragraph. Oh, and @Hazzy: We're ranged and melee, but at the same time we don't have the same range as ranged classes, like you said. If Papulatus is KB'd to the left side of the map, my Paralyze can't hit it from the right-edge of the highest left-side platform NLs and BMs can stand under and still hit with TT and Hurricane, respectively.
