i just reread the whole tread from page 4 -12 and I'm kind of lost with what to do for SP wise ... so far i have my DW at 76 with 1 combo and 18 driver . im just trying to see what is the average build for me to do , all the driver>combo>charge stuff is confusing cause everyone keeps on saying get something level charge then combo or some random combo level then charge ...

i know about this guide http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=8917&highlight=soul+warrior+build
yet it seems some what out of date .

So, for most of the people that have gotten pretty far on their dawn warriors, which would you think would be more useful; panic or coma? It'd be easier for a crusader because they would be end up maxing both... But for a dawn warrior, it'd be better to just stick to one.

I have done a bit of reading on the skills. While panic do more single target damage and coma for be better for mobbing and training. This is the conclusion I came up with and I'm wondering if most of the people think the same; After reaching level 120, I think panic would be more useful. Training comes to a dead stop at 120. Unless you just feel like hunting with, coma would have less uses later on... At least with panic, you can still kill pianus or a few the lesser bosses with it even after 120. I ended up going with panic, but I'm sort of curious on the people that decided to go for maxing coma instead.

Since I never trained with either one, I went with panic for the damage. Neither one really has usefulness as a SM, anyways.

I've been wondering a lot lately about FA. A lot of people say it gets in the way, and that it tends to be annoying. Is this true? And if so, how? If not, why not?

Oh Pineapple, I sound like a teacher at school making problems for his students.

FA is horrible with brandish, it usually cuts in to the normal two hitting brandish with one hit of FA after the first hit, which personally annoyed the pineapple out of me. As soon as I realized this I took FA off of my keys. But, FA is helpful with the only other move that you'll use with it, power strike, so I wouldn't take it out of your build. I found FA at gobies to be very helpful.

I couldn't have said it any better. FA at gobies is amazing. But, it just seems to slow me down when I use it with brandish.

So definitely put points into it, but don't use it /ALL/ the time?

Just clarifying.

Use it until you get Brandish.

Where should a 55 DW train, besides CPQ2?

C-2 or C-1 depending on your accuracy

It has 100 Accuracy exactly.

I started at Truckers around lv 50, partying with a Wind Breaker of the same level and splitting the map up, and stayed there until 60 and went to Windraiders.

Ask a Soul Master/Dawn Warrior Thread - ArbalistMaster - 2010-03-06

I'm only training my DW to 100 so I have 2 choices with skills: max combo and leave driver at 21(7 monsters) or 15 combo(5 orbs) and 26 driver(8 monsters). what's the difference in damage between 15 and 20 combo?

Ask a Soul Master/Dawn Warrior Thread - MuscleWizard - 2011-01-28

What skills does final attack process with?

Does it just add extra damage to some of your hits?

Because I've noticed with it up, I've been getting some ridiculous crits, like, 11k at level 54 with 21 soul blade.
I somewhat refuse to believe that my character is actually that strong.

Also, should I leave soul blade at 21 and max everything else for 2nd job?

I've got max mastery, max rage, 21 soul blade, max soul rush, 1 final attack and some on booster.

Should I do final attack or booster first?

Ask a Soul Master/Dawn Warrior Thread - Jamie_Kurosawa - 2011-01-28

Final Attack adds an extra attack on any skill that can inflict actual damage (including Power Guard oddly).

It can add extra damage but the damage is about only that of a normal unpowered attack but it can be enough to kill sometimes. However, Final Attack for Cygnus isn't the same as Adventurer one.

FA affecting Criticals? Unknown...

Max Booster for the long term benefit. Never got that much mileage out of Soul Rush. Brandish, Driver, and other skills will replace Soul Blade at 3rd job easily.

Thanks, I was planning on maxing booster anyway, but regardless, I'll have enough points to max all my 2nd job skills except soul blade.

The only reason I got blade to 21 was because it hits 5 mobs.

Ask a Soul Master/Dawn Warrior Thread - Stereo - 2011-01-28

What's your range like? My DW hits 11k crits sometimes with 28 Soul Blade, and it has about 1500-2500. So I'm not sure it's that unreasonable.
