Finally on a hot streak again in ranked, partially thanks to the help of hongyu (even if I do have to play support all the time). Can't wait to reverse my horrible mmr.

I chose kennen because of his aoe ult mainly and my old mid was wukong, I chose kennen because I thought he could do a lot more damage than wukong since I can go for more damage as compared to wukong who needs to be tanky.
This is what I find kennen was good for:
good consistent stuns due to short cd spells
harass melee champs to no end, very good at zoning out melees
decent ult for a teamstun
the problem I have with kennen are:
no real burst, he is good at poking down opponents and keeping them stunned
no reliable way to gap close except flash, e simply doesn't do the job all that well
getting into the middle of their team would likely get you killed, you often have to end up ulting/zhonyas early and most likely hit tanks most of the time
basically have to rush zhonyas to do your job
your ult is actually very easy to walk out of considering the random effect. It's actually hard to survive+stun+do full dmg of a good ult.
Basically he isn't a great initiator like wukong, his aoe damage isn't all that powerful even if you compare it to tanky wukong. His distruption is delayed compared to immediate knockup from wukong. Like I can see him fitting into a aoe teamcomp with like a amumu/malph/etc who can disrupt first so you can get into a good position to ult. But if you have them locked down like that why not just go katarina if you need damage, why not just go for wukong if you need cc?

Well it's all up to you whether you would like to go for more damage, it's for sure that Kennen doesn't do as much compared to others. He's more of the alternative pick if you would like CC but judging from what you have stated, have you tried out Vlad or even Zac?

not really, but yea I can see him as a situational pick, not a pick I should always go for.

Wanted to try out Vayne in a bot game, but someone took the ADC role already. Went Amumu.
We had a lead, but we starting losing. The ADC (Varus) quit the game. Guess what? We had to go on without him, and we won. Sigh, leavers. Quitting when the going gets tough, instead of believing they can still turn it around, and in a bot game no less. As DotA taught me: It ain't over until the Ancient (Nexus for you LoLers) falls.

Ah, I didn't notice, that helped a lot. In DotA, bots don't stop if someone leaves. Call it unfair if you want, but keeps the experience more realistic. Still really silly to quit a bot game, of all things.

Started doing some ranked more seriously (was stuck at bronze 2 so I was like, whateves). Got to bronze 1 after like a week, then went on vacations. Came back, climbed bronze 1 in like 2 days and I'm now in my promotion series!
Singed is too good for climbing in ranked!

-Finally beat a Yorick top as Shyvana (ignite + Fort 3, level 1 engage).
-Went 6/3 as Shyvana Gold V ranked
-Found out Yorick has a power spike with manamune, but easily dominated him with just a BoRK later on.

Now I'm doin pretty good again.
Also @ Fenix in ranked I always feared the trynd pick, and this particular ranked game I was forced to go top vs one so I was like pomegranateting my pants, so I decided to try teemo again cause I didn't know who else to use
All other times I went ap and then trynd could just trade damage with me by auto'ing all day till he takes some hp (yes, through the blind), then spinning away, pressing q and healing off minions
After seeing someone go ad teemo with bork mallet runaans I decided to try it and rekt that bish and now I don't fear the trynd anymore ^o^
Enemy team even had twitch noct too so I got to make anyone of those 3 useless for the two seconds it takes to kill them (other than trynd of course hur)[/COLOR]
