Just played Aatrox on a bot game to test and dayum. Sadly it was just a theoretical build so who knows if it works on a real match but damn i was healing from 1 to 100% in a few seconds.
BoRK+Hydra+SpiritVisage+Warmogs+LastWhisper, Boots its your choice doesn't matter much but i took CDR just for convenience (45sec ult Op)

Me being Malphite vsing Aatrox is the worst match up that could ever happen. I try to attack the minions when he's at my tower to stop him from attacking and he ignores me. I attack him to prevent him from attacking but he still ignores me.

Aatrox has two attack speed steroids that sort of counteract the E slow.

Well all you need to do is save it till he tries to attack you, it's not like you're going to be dueling as a malphite. If he Q's you and aa's you, just E him and Q, slap and walk away, easy. Eventually when malph's big enough with hp, armor, and a bigger shield from his hp he can do this more.

Aatrox can also just poke with E, which does magic damage scaling off AD and AP.

Which is weak as pineapple and should be blocked by malphite's shield, and is a skill aatrox shouldn't maxing first, because if he does his w will do nothing. Plus super easy to dodge with.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I wasn't doing much damage to him as he just healed it off so quickly as he somehow did more damage to me even though all he had was a doran. Either way, I raged during that time.

Aatrox poke is weak and if its honestly giving you any form of trouble a chalice into sunfire>magic pen build will pomegranate on that skill order any day of the week. It's rather easy to dodge too.
Aatrox is incredibly weak to poke spam and all ins champions: something which Malphite has no trouble doing. Spam Q until he gets half health(which your q spam should easily do even with his sustain, e him if he comes to close) and then all in him with ult. Once you pop the passive the lane becomes so easy its pathetic. If you for some reason are having trouble or I've just been playing against pomegranatety Aatrox players just farm it out and call for ganks(Malp is really easy to gank for, I'm sure you're jungler will be giving you plenty of attention). You have much more presence in team fights then he does.

I drove myself to the point where Jayce is for sure my new "go-to" main now. RIP Cho'gath as main.

So far PBE made his Acceleration Gate a Flat 16 CD for all levels (Up from 14-10), that will certainly hit Poker Jayce a lot, good/sad for me that i play Bruiser Jayce

Think what was kinda op about jayce was that he had pretty low cds and tons of spells, so them putting flat CD's on his spells should put him in his place. I'll miss spamming Q/E all day though. Might kill mid jayce for me.[/COLOR]

Nah i think it was before that, when people realized building a muramana on Jayce meant spamming Q/E All day and deal OP damage.
