I take responsibility for what I did, at most I was expecting a few day ban, roll back, or taking chaos from me. It was a rational thought because every transaction that goes through the mts is supposed to be approved by nexon, of course this would manually never happen, but in the past they have never said 2nd parties are guiltier than the hackers. Today many of the hackers are still playing and have tons of scrolls while those who didnt download the hack are permanent banned. I know what I did, but that doesnt mean what nexon did was right or justifiable. It would be nice when my money is involved they showed some consistency in their decision making, or better yet just answer my ticket thats been sitting there all day now.

There database is the antithesis of normalization, having each table represent a separate location with items "moving" from table to table as they shift from location to location. With Locations consisting of - worn, inventory, duey, cash shop, mts, storage box, that means the same columns and fields exist a minimum of six times in most cases. That's one of the reasons the hammers kept "falling off" is because anytime they transferred from a table with the slots to one without the slots then back again the rule of defaulting NULL to 0 reset them.
They are absolute morons as far as design goes. There is not a single thing I can give them credit for, anywhere, in any part of this game, that was designed well.

You could also 'frame' someone by dueying them the scrolls, except I guess this practice is almost next to non-existent, it's still a possibility. What they should do is just do a 2nd round of purging. Take out the +2,3 horntail pendants while they're at it. But nah, they're too 'busy' to care about minor details. Remember the 80/20 rule, probably applies to every other thing they do.

So I don't know much about bans as this was my first so I don' know, about how long it takes for them to respond to a ticket, if they ever will lift the ban or is it an auto your guilty no matter what, and what do people think the chances are of them lifting this ban?

Try to login from the website and start the client there. Worked for me.

Same here, I took pictures of people who were mass selling the scrolls and not one of those people has been banned when i checked up on them just now.

- like in real life, if you receive stolen goods (even if you didn't know they were stolen), you are guilty. yes it's stupid if you just bought a couple of scrolls and got banned, but that's Nexon for you.
- I don't think Maple was designed with hackers in mind, other than a third party add-on (hackshield). They have nothing to combat hacks.
- Maple is a leaking boat, Nexon tries to patch up each little hole, but we all know that it's gonna sink.
- Morals is doing the right thing even when no one is looking.

I wouldn't give out names/SS in fear of repurcusion, but believe me, they're still out there.

I think u are just making stuff up...have you even seen a chaos stack after the patch?
I sure didn't cuz i just browsed through scania fm...sure there are people selling 5-10 per stack but nothing big like 100

my bishop, bowmaster/corsair, aran 3 accounts banned for having 100 chaos scrolls in each acc -_-. a lot of money spend to buy them
