I've never DC'd from the PvP server, try Vagabond.

Worst I get is a Cant Connect message, and then I just keep trying and it eventually works.

Last night, my internet went out after I killed the zombie boss in Shadow Thunderland but before I could pick my reward. Hothead

What bad things can happen when you use Kiri's upgrading machine? Can the item totally break?

I don't remember exactly which levels these start happening at, but your equipment can: downgrade one level, downgrade to level 0, or get destroyed.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Fiel - 2009-09-24

I've gone up to level 6 without a hitch. Then one upgrade failed (didn't go up at all), the one upgrade failed AND lost a level. Luckily I've never had anything get destroyed, and nor have I heard of anyone getting their equipment destroyed. :f6:

EDIT:

This was useful.

What kind of content can we look forward to in the future? This has been out for a while in Korea, non?

I found a rare level 10 rosary if any priests are interested.

I find it difficult to SSS something unless I take off my weapon and barehand it.

King's solos way back. Ended up doing the Grakarak King's because I didn't have enough fatigue left to try another one, and I wanted to actually complete a run, kept dying on my Blazing solos. I think it's pretty impressive to do a Blazing King's solo at 15, but that might just be me.

Not as impressive but I had just realised I never did Grakarak King's, so I went and leveled I believe.

My sexy ring (because I can't solo Shadow Master's for the Alchemy Ring):

I like it. And the blood appears more often than I would think to be 2%, even in PvP. Sure is fun watching some guy I just pummeled bleed to death. Despite my Win:Loss being 9:11. In one Team Elimination, I did 3x the damage of the enemy team's strongest player, and we still lost.
I kid you not. It was like 110000 points done by me, and their highest was not even 40000. There was another time I got 7 kills in the Stock Elimination. Gunners are evil. Priests are evil. Fighters are probably the worst PvP characters. Lowest range, and if anyone Super Armors, we get pineappleed fast coughpriestscough.

Does anyone use Plate Armour in here? I have a jar for L25~30 Plate.

Anyone up for some Dragonoid Nest and Puppet Museum tomorrow? owo;

I can't really survive all that well myself since I don't have Gatling anymore. D:

Dragonoid yes, if basic or Expert. I FREAKIN HATE those fire-breathing statues at the boss. They kept me from completing the "clear without taking more than X hits" quest.

I found green level 15 priest boots that are part of a set if anyone's interested.

The boots I got from a top row card from Dragonoid Nest with only 1 "mutant" monter killed, lol. The other thing...don't remember.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - JoeTang - 2009-09-25

I just smash those statues. I'm up for Master Dragonoid or Expert/Master Puppet. Maybe King's too if three of us are around.

Does anyone know where you get recipes?

I've gotten 3 from Blazing Master

There are certain "mini-boss" monsters in dungeons. Usually, it's 1 for Normal, and as the difficulty gets higher, there's chance for more of them. They have a flashy aura, and their name is purple. They'll have some special effect with them too, like Hit Recovery, or Bonus Attack.

Tikey Wrote:Does anyone know where you get recipes?

I'm fairly sure you just find them off monsters randomly. I have one so far =/

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Sarah - 2009-09-25

No thank you.

I figured out the formula for experience at the end of a level though. I have been wondering why I would get seemingly random results so I started messing around.

It takes the sum of all experience gained throughout the level and adds it together, then adds rank (probably a fraction of your total based on ranking attained) and then party which I have no idea. I used this newfound knowledge to my advantage with my final fatigue point tonight.

It was 22k before rank so that means I got 46k exp on a single run through Shadowland Expert. Not bad for one fatigue point.

Now to find out whether it's more beneficial to clear the entire dungeon for a mass of experience or to continuously go through the shortest path for smaller more frequent portions. It's safe to say that if you've only got 6 fat left when you enter a dungeon, you may as well go through every room.

Also it appears that the money gained/items at the end are WAY better when you go through the full dungeon. I got some really nice items at the end of that run.

Just thought I'd share for anyone else who doesn't know. I bet Fiel had already figured this out.

BombsAway Wrote:I bet Fiel had already figured this out.

Flattering. I knew that killing more meant more exp and more boss mobs killed meant better rewards. Beyond that, I don't know the math.

This might help though. I guess that means you got 22545 exp?

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Jedward - 2009-09-25

I haven't read the entire thread, but what exactly is Dungeon Fighter? Is it something a la Lunia (storylined arcade-like stages) or more like Maple?

Also, I've read up on classes and want to be a Spitfire.. will be starting up later today. :U
