I love that the journalists who write for the gamer demographic generally have this putrid hated for them and insult them whenever they're asked for their opinion. That's just swell.

EDIT: Oh my god, this following quote just made my night:

Also if it wasn't so late I would have lol at the end since I was thinking half way into the video that IGN, one of the most corrupt sites seems to be the cleanest right now and IA goes and says that.

It's just the stupid clique that's been doing that. Brian Crecente of Polygon owned his colleagues by taking neither side and talked to us about ethics and conflict of interests (Also has an actual degree in journalism), and you can see him beautifully standing his ground neutrally here: https://twitter.com/crecenteb/status/505768144989065216 and https://twitter.com/crecenteb/status/505772194560237568

Owen Good was also pretty cool and Alexander Macris of The Escapist has also showed up and he was very reasonable with his views too. They're the kind of people we want to support, and I have enjoyed reading their opinions (Also, it appears that the idiots involved with the Death of Gamers articles probably didn't consult them).

IGN not saying anything is decent proof to me that they aren't clean in this at all. They've already experienced to a lesser extent what the smaller sites are now going through, and they know what's in their best interest, and that's SHUTTING THE pineapple UP, even if it means throwing the rest of the sites under buses and being one of the only ones to survive this (or so they believe).

They are starting to crack, Helena Horton of Vice used a #killallmen hashtag earlier in response to gamergate, and some other psychotic peach fully condoned threatening to kill a 10 year old boy for disagreeing with her opinion while simultaneously admitting she thought Anita's threats were the only ones that matter. Doesn't matter if it's a facetious post or not, that's definitely doing some damage to their image.

and now threads are being auto-deleted on /v/ with OP banned on all boards. It's a sad day when even that fucking site is censored, I wonder who they paid off to get that to work. Anyway, /pol/ is the only place where threads aren't being deleted at the moment, probably because they know deleting threads on a controversial topic on /pol/ would only make the resistance 1000x stronger. Hopefully they don't give up.

I love how these indie game developers even have the audacity to attempt to treat majority of gamers like this. I'll tell you, I will not be playing any indie developed games until after a heavy background check of the developer.

It is convenient that these news articles are taking her side, with no research, just shows which sites are completely worthless, or reinforce the reputation already.

i find it so hilarious and hypocritical that reddit banned and deleted the mention of zoe quinn

but this whole celebrity nude scandal got it's own section, actual, stolen, breach-of-privacy gotten nudes were allowed up, and it took until they got a cease and desist for them to stop showing the pictures (but they STILL endorse the sharing and everything)

No, I realized it was fake from the beginning, I was laughing at the fact that they are taking this so casually, they still think it's something they can joke about and it will just go away.

A protip for these celebrities, anything you put on the internet is fair game, it is not secure, and it will eventually be found and stolen regardless of what you do to try and stop it. The only way to be secure in this day and age is to not have a WAN connection.

Same. It's sad, but then again the majority of people supporting them have absolutely no business making games when they're basically doing a repeat of FF8 and the never-ending movies, except FF8 actually had gameplay.

This circulates probably the top 10-15 articles, however, today, or rather this morning, I saw this gem pop up at number 2
