Uhh... The "gun" that you thought the girl was holding in her left hand is actually her leg... Your outline of that gun doesn't match at all with the actual picture and is completely off.

I think Jett's motivation for joining the fight against the Black Mage is that Kyrin has the parts to fix the ship he/she was flying. In return for fighting for the Nautilus, Jett obtains the parts he/she needs to get back up flying.

However, that impact looked pretty gnarly. Not to mention Kyrin and Black Bark left Jett lying in the water for who knows how long - and Jett probably suffered some degree of brain damage (thus explaining his/her "weakening" that the heroes ALWAYS seem to get).

Perhaps - though this is merely speculation at this point - Kyrin may also give a personal request to Jett to search for traces of her father, Testonen. Good bet is good ol' Testo's dead - but Jett's the only one who has tools capable of detecting any trace of the poor sod.

While I do question why she wouldn't give regular Pirates/Cannoneers/Thunder Breakers this type of assignment, you have to realize Jett came from outer-space. He/she may have access to methods ordinary Maplers would not, as well as knowledge of how to use said methods. Therefore, it's not something any ORDINARY Pirate would be capable of doing, because it would require knowledge of how said technology works without, y'know, blowing pomegranate up.

If you all look at the main nexon page and scroll down, right above the rankings there's a poster with a pirate holding a cannon above the jett danger board.

75% cannon (Chance of it being the weapon)
25% gun
100% Dex user.

Nah. We all know that Nexon NA can't let go of new class hype whenever they get their bloody hands on it - that's why Gunslinger and Brawler don't ever get any more screen time.

In the words of a certain poster or posters.....

"Introducing new OP broken Pirate class requiring 5k NX to create! Buy NX today!"

.... Or something like that.

Besides, even if you WERE to get your hands on that stuff o' proof, who's to say Nexon won't ban you to keep your mouth shut? They did it for the DFO Revolution patch leak, they can do it here too.

EDIT - On the male on far right, I see what appears to be foreign gun exhausts, most likely alien in design. Gunner for sure. A cannon's a little more cumbersome to wield, and this guy looks like he definitely has a Dante flick going.

Mental note: Remind me to boycott Capcom's crap in the future.
