Zipangu (Mushroom shrine and showa) did the same thing. But guess what it never did in GMS (to as great as an extent)? They're likely to water down the drops and quest rewards as they did to the rest of zipangu. Make it a nerfing trifecta. There's no reason they wouldn't. The best thing to predict future behavior is from examples of the past.

It'll be a copy paste version from MSEA which wasn't nerfed at all.

Why would it be? We didn't copy and paste mushroom shrine from them, nor did we showa. And the showa nerfing (besides from the images) was all NexAm.

Hmm... I can't pretend to be too excited about this patch. It's nice to finally get it after all these years (as long as it isn't just an event) but it seems the main draw is the drops. Looking at the Zipangu we have already with crappy toy hammers and nerfed to hell drops, it doesn't look all that hopeful. But we'll see soon.
Seems the main plus point is the Hoblin King PQ with % Hp earrings. The PQ did look a little bland though.

The reason it won't be nerfed, IMHO, is that this is a filler patch, made with as little effort as possible. Going over drop lists is effort.
But, we'll just have to wait and see.

Just to get it out of the way, I WAS WRONG. So you don't need to eat me up about it. CMS had a nerfed showa. CMS took the Mushroom Shrine nerfings from KMS. We took it from either of them. Kaede is released in both CMS and TWMS. Both are nerfed as we expect them to be. SEA has a carbon copy of the JMS version of Zipangu. We have a carbon copy of CMS' Zipangu. What do you think we're going to get?
(and before you rip me up as being eternally wrong since I screwed up once, I used research this time, instead of what I knew and thought I knew previously.)

Sorry bro, i'm damn f'uckin sure CMS had nerfed showa before we got showa at all. I distinctly remember the dozens of threads i commented on about it when it was announced for GMS along with the guy in the shower picture i edited to include a hammer with the caption "GTFO OF MAH SHOWA".
I'm sure Slip could settle this though since he was the one who posted the information from CMS.

I remember this too. All the complaining about how lame the CMS version was both in design and training areas (mostly the armory with the lack of tanks).
