You have a point but I still dont think that nexon should refuse to make a skill more useful simply because in the past most people didn't touch it. In fact, that should be even MORE reason to buff said skill. And it would be in nexon's best interest to buff unused skills, and make us spend SP resets. If they made shield mastery or armor crash even remotely useful, I would reset shout/mp recover points I think. Also finally meteor is stronger than blizzard. I was always wondering why it wasn't. Ice demon is still mehI wonder, for the BM changes, why they make inferno burn and phoenix not. Maybe next patch? Anyways the increase in bomb's dmg makes me not regret skipping inferno so I'm still happy. The 3% chance to 1hitko is pretty lol. I wonder if it would make alot of difference... I'd like to see the new snipe skill tables, but really 'slightly reduced at lower levels of the skill', are they stupid? A one hit/200k damage skill with a 240 second cooldown is absolutely just as useless if it had a 235 second cooldown. The whole lower level snipe cooldown system needs a complete overhaul. Even at level 1 the cooldown should be 120 seconds max (although I'd say 60 is a better number). 3% to one hit a frozen monster with strafe, eh? Maybe if it's calculated per arrow, it has a chance of making any sort of difference, but I doubt it. If it has some really cool animation though I won't mind if it's not actually useful. Archmage changes look nice, I'll now seriously consider making one once we get this balance patch, as a 'just for fun' character. Maybe they'll give them HS in the next balance patch? Inferno is still useless, burn is a horrificly useless effect, and now bomb arrow got made stronger, it hits MUCH more than inferno on average,a nd only ~17/18% less when it has advantage. If a BM has a mob skill on a key stilll, (yaright), this just solidfies it should be bomb arrow. Full list of all Adventurer KMST changes - Takebacker - 2010-01-05 Pretty obvious that the strafe change was meant to help 3rd job, not 4th job. Full list of all Adventurer KMST changes - Kubi - 2010-01-05 Feels like part of an Aran's Tempest skill concept got implemented into freeze and strafe, and yeah that part is pretty useless for higher leveled MMs. While training, we rarely use strafe anymore, or at least I do. Mobbing with piercing, using snipe on lone targets, and then using strafe on already weakened monsters that would ko them in a hit anyway. But this probably isn't the last update; so we'll see what comes next. |
