kso.
I just got another Avatar Token - saving the rest of the NX for Aran.

Going for a Monk item, what would benefit me the most both in terms of usefulness and market value? :\

Also, that fried-desktop hiatus really set me back a lot.. everyone's higher than me now. xd

@ Above, torso and face have a chance of Att Speed, which are the most expensive and most useful in general.

I just used 10 avatar tokens, I obtained some decent avatars. I am just glad that I got a workable look. Hopefully I can sell some more items in the MTS before the avatar token sale ends.

I got:
Orange Crew Cut [+15 Intelligence]
Black Spider Cut [+10% Casting Speed]
Iron Helm [+15 MP per minute]
Brown Bear Ears [+15 MP per minute]
Gold Shoulder Guard [+4 Attack Speed]
Red Cleric Tunic [+1 Furious Grab]
Black Cleric Pants [+150 MP]
Black Cleric Shoes [+4 Movement Speed]
Brown Teddy Bear [+20 Shadow Resistance]
Silver Chain Cross [+20 Shadow Resistance]

Things in red are what I am not wearing, if anyone needs them I would be willing to sell them at a discount.

The avatar system reminds me of Gunbound, though Gunbound at least featured an option to ignore cash shop equipments' additional stats during PvP.

I would much rather "pay-to-play" Dungeon Fighter, if only to avoid the uneven playing field currently presented.

I love pvp. I feel kinda bad that everyone I'm fighting is lower level than me since there's no level 40s in the second pvp room, but I'm almost always the host of the room and people stay even if they keep getting soundly beaten. I'm guessing all the level 40s in the Expert room.

I love how some people are very slow to change their opening pattern. I was playing a spitfire today, and every time he would open by loading grenades and aerial fire, then running to the middle and jumping to do an aerial fire volley, even after I started nailing him in midair with a flashbang every time.

@Providence: You can buy avatar items from other players, so I don't see it as that big of a deal. They won't make much difference in pvp unless you and your opponent are close in skill. According to this pvp rank guide, there's a Hero 1 ~ Hero 10 room (not present in DFO yet) where armor enhancements are nullified and weapon enhancements only take effect up to +10. I wish all pvp rooms were like that. I haven't run into anyone with like +12 everything yet but I imagine it wouldn't be fun.

How much for this? :U

Isn't the average market price for that item about 500k? If so, I'll sell it to you for 400k?

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Jedward - 2009-11-30

Well, nevermind, actually.
I think I'll do some more avatar token crap later.

Is there a benefit in forging items? Just got a recipe for a lvl 35 purple sword, and it's gonna take about 700k for all the cinda's passes and crap. I'm pretty sure I can find it in the market for lower I think?

Are recipes useful and worth anything at all since they cost so much or is there an easy way to get cinda's forge passes? (50k ones)

When you use the recipe, there is a chance the item can be ungraded. For example, when I forged my level 20 knuckle, it came out +1.

Also, some items can *only* be obtained from a recipe (or from someone else who made it from the recipe).

Is there any way of knowing that from the recipe itself?

Spinning Cross has such a huge Y axis range, not to mention super armor. Feels good, man.

At least I think that's the case - certain equips I only see recipes for in the market.

Wow... i FUCKING HATE WITCHES... tried against my brother witch with my launcher... ok i can win if the fucker is far away... for some reason even with heavy armor the pomegranate can juggle me like a fucking ball this is frustrating as hell what the hell is wrong with that, he doesn't even need to use the fucking mantle cause he's juggling the pomegranate out of my ass across the room and forth...

Launchers and PvP don't mix. Go make a ranger and kill him with it.

Oddly enough, I've always done far better against Rangers. I do not like having to deal with someone who is always running away from me.
