Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Dredragon - 2013-10-17 Kubi Wrote:It depends what'd you want for your team. I prefer Espeon myself because there's a lot of utility like baton pass as well as being a good special attacker. And I really do Espeon. You'll need to find an Eevee with Anticipation for its hidden ability if you want Espeon with magic bounce. You have Shroomish with 31 ivs in attack and speed, as well as having technician? gimme pls One with a good nature too?
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Corn - 2013-10-17 Azumarill can now learn Belly Drum and Aqua Jet! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu- Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - JPTheMonkey - 2013-10-17 I have an Espeon with Magic Bounce on my Black 2. May be able to start breeding Hidden Ability Eevees come Poke Transfer. Also, still wondering if anyone has found any item collectors in game (chef after mushrooms, ore guy after nuggets, pearls, etc., and such)? Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Kubi - 2013-10-17 Dredragon Wrote:You have Shroomish with 31 ivs in attack and speed, as well as having technician? gimme plsCan't tell with all of them for what IVs they have, but most of the Shroomish in my boxes have adamant/jolly/etc and quick feet. Quick feet will turn into technician when it evolves. Characteristic is 'Likes to thrash about' and one with jolly nature has 'alert to sounds'. Let me know when you want one. Despite all the new threats like fairy-types and priority flying moves, I think this generation may just make Breloom just as powerful as before. I'm wondering what to use for its move set though. So far with technician, it has Bullet Seed, Mach Punch, and Spore. Viable options: Rock tomb/60 base (90 with technician), 95 accuracy and drops target's speed Power up punch/40 base (90 with stab and technician), increases attack after each hit Swords dance or bulk up So it's pretty much sacrifice boosts for coverage or vice versa? Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Malthe - 2013-10-17 I want a breloom, mine is stuck in white 2. I prefer poison heal though. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Corn - 2013-10-17 Breloom got severely nerfed competitively. Grass types are no longer affected by Spore (and...those Fairy-Types and Priority Flying stuff). For your Breloom build, it really depends what purpose he fulfills. Sweeper? Obviously Swords Dance. Bulky? Bulk Up. I wouldn't go for Power Up punch when you have Swords Dance (it's quite redundant with Mach Punch). Rock Tomb offers coverage against the new Flying Types, but they usually outspeed Breloom anyways unless you nail them on the switch in so it's not that great. (I'd recommend going Sweeper Breloom w/ Swords Dance since you have Technician). Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Kubi - 2013-10-17 Right now, most of my party is on the special attacking/support/defense side. I figured replacing Venusaur would be good for coverage. Rock tomb helps with killing off bugs, ice, fire, and the occasional flying-types if it can. Upside with power-up punch is that it can still increase its attack while doing a lot of damage even after being taunted. Downside is that it gets walled more easily by ghosts. I guess I'm only afraid of it getting walled by stuff like Skarmory xD. I have a few Shroomishes with poison heal if you want it too. IVs and natures vary, but at least one likes to thrash about. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Corn - 2013-10-17 +2 neutral STAB Mach Punch does more damage than +0 Super Effective Rock Tomb, does it not (and...it has priority)? Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Sephie - 2013-10-17 I found out a good way to get a Drizzle Politoed. Find a Poliwhirl from a horde and catch it. Super train it with Speed or level it a bit. Find a Poliwhirl horde and use Rain Dance. Try attacking and see if any Poliwhirl out speeds you. If one attacks you before you can, it has Swift Swim, which turns into Drizzle when evolved to Politoed. Kill everyone except that one and catch it. Voila, now I can try using a Rain strategy, also got the cutest frog ever. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Colress - 2013-10-17 There's always Trace if you feel like scouting for abilities.
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Kubi - 2013-10-17 I thought of suggesting that too, but then I realized trace is pretty unreliable for horde battles since the ability is chosen randomly xD. It's still useful for scouting single battle abilities or using them yourself which I found useful. Copy speed boost, intimidate, water/lightning absorb, levitate, or basically anything you can make use of. It makes it quite flexible. Finally Garchomp gets a more distinctive shiny form! And holy crap, it's in my favorite color range too! TIL the person I like and I have nearly identical Safari Zones. We both have Normal as our typing and have Chansey as our third Pokémon. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Doxinator - 2013-10-18 I still have yet to find a shiny. :[ In postgame stuffs now. The boyfriend just texted me again saying he found another shiny. That's two for him...Not cool. Drifblim and Spearow. I'm just about to start getting into breeding some good Pokes, and potentially making a new team. Your boyfriend is really lucky, especially since he got my favourite shiny ever (Drifblim). I only ever shiny hunt for pokemon I really like, coincidentally both being Ghost types (Drifblim and Pumpkaboo). Now that I think about it, the only Ghost type pokemon that I don't like are Golette, Golurk and Giratina. I was going to start making a team too, but got distracted by how cute shiny Pumpkaboo is. nearly 200 eggs hatched now, hopefully soon

He keeps offering me said Drifblim, but I keep refusing. Apparently the Spearow came from my Safari as well. Pumpkaboo is slowly starting to take my heart as well (I'm a HUGE fan of ghost pokemon). I may try and breed a couple good natures and such. Is there a trick to your breeding for a shiny? Or just extreme luck? Otherwise that's a whole lot of eggs...Isn't it 1 in like 8,000? I could be wrong but breeding a foreign poke with your own knocks the rate down by like 2/3s to somewhere around 1/2000-ish. |
