Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Rinax - 2013-10-14 Just saw this: http://www.gametrailers.com/side-mission/63546/warning-potential-game-breaking-bug-in-pokemon-xy Hasn't happened to me and I hope it doesn't happen to you or me. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Worthyness - 2013-10-15 awwwwwww yea. got 3 reset bags today ev training to Dolphox and Charizard X here I come!
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - SuperNerd - 2013-10-15 Is anyone here using a Trevenant on their team? How good/usable is it? Based on the screenshot above of the shiny version, it looks like it has the moveset to be a great staller, which my team seriously lacks. Not to mention it has decent attack to boot. This generation seriously lacks new walls/stallers, so I'm looking high and low for a viable choice. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - JPTheMonkey - 2013-10-15 Trying to afford Charizard's Mega stone, but I don't wanna run the E4 more right now, has anyone seen the rare item collectors? I wanna sell my Big Nugget/Nuggets and such. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Sephie - 2013-10-15 Well, I have 5 Hearts (max friendship / friends forever! yay) on my Haxorus from Pokemon-amie, and there a couple things I've observed: - Your Pokemon gets boosted EXP - Your Pokemon can sometimes dodge an attack that would have hit them (dodged a 100% hit attack) - Your Pokemon sometimes remains with 1 HP if they get hit by something that would have killed it. - Your Pokemon sometimes cures its own status. - Your Pokemon sometimes withstands a Super Effective move (not sure about this but my Haxorus did something to live against a Dazzling Gleam that should have killed it) - Your Pokemon sometimes criticals (guessing more often) and it shows a heart when it does - The battle text changes with your Pokemon's thoughts (X is thinking about you, X remembers something, X waits for orders, etc) - If you wipe a Pokemon, you'll praise them after doing so (in battle text) - If you switch out, you'll praise them. - Before you start a battle, your Pokemon will do a special animation that it otherwise wouldn't (different for each I'm assuming... my Azumarill hops around while my Haxorus looks backwards for a second) - When your Pokemon is about to faint in battle, it lets you know it's dying and suffering :v That said, the amie thing makes them so strong that, along with the punching bag thing, they become gods that will never die. Look into Goomy/Sliggoo/Goodra for a special wall. Hydration ability with Rest, Toxic, Rain Dance (or a Drizzle pokemon on your team), and an attacking move of your choice (I'm looking at Infestation for preventing swaps/more damage over time right now, or Dragon Pulse as a simple STAB move). Fully heal in the rain for free, HUGE special defense and HP stats (pretty average defense though). Infestation prevents swapping, Toxic wears down anything given enough time. Dragon is resistant to a lot of special sweeper sets, weak to Ice/Fairy/Dragon. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Malthe - 2013-10-15 This gen doesn't lack walls, lmao. Plenty of pokes have amazing stats for walling. And yeah goodra is one of them. You can also run goodra as a physical attacker, 95 attack isn't low and it has access to a decent chunk of physical moves. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Hanabira.Kage - 2013-10-15 Sephie Wrote:- The battle text changes with your Pokemon's thoughts (X is thinking about you, X remembers something, X waits for orders, etc) My Kirlia (now evolved) had this message pop up at the start of battles every now and then. Something about her taking an interest in my bag...
I'm wondering if that means anything, like maybe the opposing pokemon is holding an item and may drop it after the fight? ^ And if you include Megas, Mega Aggron is a crazy awesome physical wall; pure Steel + Filter. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - 案山子 - 2013-10-15 Edit: Nevermind Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Encyclopedic - 2013-10-15 Reading this thread and the walkthough thread has become too much for me, I'm gonna buy a 3DS and X/Y. Probably Y since I've always played the second version (Sapphire, Pearl, White and so on) but I still need to che k the version exclusives of each. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Razmos - 2013-10-15 ![]() Looks like we ARE missing some legendaries. The NPC who gives you the item mentions that the "Region" he's speaking of is not one of the previous 5. another NPC mentions that it's a precious item you should hold on to, looks like it's going to be important. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Doxinator - 2013-10-15 Has anyone found out if Phantump/Trevenant can breed? My friend traded me a Phantump a few days back, but I dislike using traded Pokemon; makes me feel like I've cheated in someway. Especially since he's so much higher than the rest of my team. Every Pokemon that I attempt to put in the daycare with my Trevenant, no eggs happen. I've tried grass, I've tried ghost...And nothing. That said, I don't think anywhere has the egg groups yet, so ditto is your best bet. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Lozmaster - 2013-10-15 Niernen Wrote:Well you do know type does not matter right? Mostly because people were able to get pretty much all the data that was stored on DS game cards, whereas they're nowhere near doing that yet with 3DS games. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Mute - 2013-10-15 So, about pokemon-amie.. wtp can you actually do? I mean, I get rubbing the poke and playing games, and feeding it Can the camera do anything with pokemon amie? Like, how do I get my pokes to do more than just stand there? also how can I raise eevee's affection to max so as to get sylveon? Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Niernen - 2013-10-15 Mute Wrote:also how can I raise eevee's affection to max so as to get sylveon? This is what I did: Pet/rub/stroke/fondle your pokemon until it stops displaying hearts and instead displays a music note. The procede to feed it 5 of the fanciest pokepuffs you have. To earn fancier pokepuffs, get good scores in the minigames. Once you have fed your pokemon 5 pokepuffs, play "Head it" with them, and do the unlimited mode. Try to get at least a 30-50 combo per try. If you get a long enough combo, you will get a fancy sprinkle special pokepuff. Play the game 1-2 times, then head back and feed and pet your pokemon. Repeat the cycle of pet>feed>play until you max the affection. You will know when affection has leveled up because ~10 hearts will flow out twice. You should know when you have maxed (lv5) affection because `10 hearts will come out 3-4 times. You can check the affection level by choosing the switch option before entering amie. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Loose - 2013-10-15 Mute Wrote:also how can I raise eevee's affection to max so as to get sylveon?Get two hearts (check in the Pokemon-Amie by using the Switch option), must know a Fairy type move (to prevent it from evolving into Espeon or Umbreon), level it up once. Congrats on Sylveon. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Zerard - 2013-10-15 Caught a Furfrou and saw that not only does it have high base sp. defence, but its ability halves physical moves. Instantly partied. Wondered why that effer was tanking my attacks early in game. Also about how far in the game can I do friend safari? |
