Yes but apparnetly that pentagon symbol shows whether they are "generated" or not. So we'll see if that has any impact in the future. It's really hard to fabricate now since I don't believe theres a way to get hte secret ID on x/y

hexagon doesn't really matter because they can just breed it really fast and then it becomes "legit".

If they are doing it for breeding purposes the only one they would need to generate is ditto, plus legendaries can't be bred.

took me all night, but I got all the starters now including a bred, completely non-legit Hidden ability Chimchar (has Iron Fist, but it never came out in Dream world). AS soon as you get 1 just GTS the offspring for the rest. Hell you can get basically any pokemon you wan except legendaries. I'd offer to breed for people, but I'll be without viable internet for a couple days. :C

Legendaries wouldn't be in tournaments anyway so...
And all the pentagon means is that it's originated from a copy of X/Y, not that the pokemon is necessarily hacked. Plus, you could do it to get egg moves onto a pokemon more easily.

If you can't get it legitimately in any of the games then it is frowned upon, yes. It's no better than hacking impossible stats really.

Just breed them and GTS them for a specific starter late at night. My cyndaquils were gone after 5 minutes and I managed to get all the other starters in less than an hour. Granted this was at like 2-3 am Pacific Coast time.
