how about you simply wanted the skills deleted and the meso taken off from the seller, there, none of them wins, not what will ever happen, but it's exactly what you want.
also, let me point out something, skill renting can, and was, a HUGE pain in the ass, i charged for it not because of greed and such, but simply because i wanted to improve, people paid for the glitch because they want to improve, i don't plan nor feel that the guy who sold me the skills i didn't have, should get charged back, nor that i must have my money back, i paid for a glitch, it ended, so did my customers, that's how it worked.
however, every trade i had to deal with the risk of my item being scammed, random DC's that happened, hell, the risk was too great for me to actually want to do it myself, which is why the collat for my gloves was so insane, i still have my thread with all the good opinions the people left about me and my selling ways, if i hadn't charged for the service i honestly wouldn't have bothered to have risked it
but that is, just like yours, a personal opinion.

The reason Steve is mad is simply because there wasn't any warning like any of the 301s and 608s Nexon went out of their way to put up a notice saying "hey were getting rid of these items don't buy for those that did buy em you knew better and if you put money into the mts just to buy said items oh well so sad too bad".
Hell if I had known that this was when they were gonna get rid of it I would have gone ahead and gotten a hb nebulite to put on my overall. But i held off on buying one under the impression that nexon would warn us. Am I mad? Not really all hb really did for me was along me to take a few more hits at empress. Now I'm just gonna have to find one of those rare endangered species known as a dark knight.

Far be it from me to ascribe any kind of higher intelligence to Nexon's actions, but they wouldn't want to create a standard where they tell people what glitches or hacked gear they intend to fix. It would permit players to take every advantage FM can throw at them and only drop such things when Nexon tells them. Instead, Nexon would want everyone assuming all glitches and hacks are bad and will be fixed, and not use them. It's essentially a false expectation they want to create, but that uncertainty contributes to less glitch exploitation overall.
And it ensures that at least sometimes exploiters are punished for their actions, instead of always being able to bail out.

i don't look up to anyone, and one of the first reasons that motivated me to sell/buy glitched skills is because paying the amount of NX nexon asks for for them is just ludicrous
question, when you say "those who made it", you mean those who used them as they should, equipping and unequipping every time they need the skill, or those that had the skill glitched, and kept the item with the skill?

As a last post in this god awful argument that is going nowhere, let me say I do not look up to cheaters. I'm glad they removed the decent skills glitch. My whole point in this is that no one's getting refunds. For their NX spent, or their mesos spent. And you need to get the pineapple over that. There is no greed involved in this. Every single damn person who bought these glitched skills knew what they were getting into. And the ones selling the skills were simply capitalizing on something that Nexon refused to fix until over a year later. There isn't a damn thing wrong with that. You probably don't even PLAY the damn game to know how difficult it is for some folks to make money otherwise.

I have to say I'll feel highly naked playing my bucc without the decent skills, however it's not the end of the world for me, since I have 24k HP clean, and don't need the rest of the 1's I had. They were just nice thing to have.
