Yesterday's patch added "grockets" to 2fort, Badwater Basin and Barnblitz.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

I'm working on a configuration of Steel-style CP, that takes a bit of a derivative of G-pit style. The best part is that the first comment I got on the point structure is that it looks like a uterus. I gotta make a joke about that now.

The bad thing is that since it's complicated like Steel, the majority of players are going to say it's bad since it's designed for teamwork. Mindless pub/f2p players. ;_;

I’m after 20 refined myself. I'm currently up to 10 with 2 reclaimed. Since they have added the classic crafting menu back to the game I’ll probably have enough spare junk to make a few more.

Grockets are the best.

No. I have 300 items. ;_;

@Erich: Yeah, people are already getting confused with Steel.
And awesome.

Played a game today. Seems the exact same, but that might just be that one server.

Good luck with that!

People are saying Meet the Pyro. Others say HL:3 or Episode 3.

If you want it to be super original, then there should be a cart from A to B which then blows up the barriers to C and D.

No, I'm extremely amused.

Payload has become whoever has the most soldiers with ammo-less guns wins. It's really sad. Now I know why my team didnt have an engie. The thing's range on the rocket launcher is ridiculous, and it 2 hits turrets even with me monkeying away at it.

TF2 Thread, now featuring HALLOWEEN! - Kirov - 2011-07-21

I just crafted both the weapons, they are pretty fun to use. too bad they don't really fit the game well.

I like the taunt with the rocket launcher and the charged blast of course. I could see it getting a nerf though.

Also found a Disciplinary Action and a Nessie’s Nine Iron so a pretty good day so far.

TF2 Thread, now featuring HALLOWEEN! - Erich - 2011-07-21

The new weapons really do need a LOT of work. It's probably been one of the best update since the polycount era started, but it still shows a valve that has their minds in the fucking gutter. They must have really never tested these weapons, ever. The Mangler is the equivalent of shooting a pyro, with the flamethrower particle at your enemy. That'll chop at least 20 FPS off of most people's framerate. And really, I think it's all sheer luck that these weapons turned out good, stats-wise. Considering everything they've thrown at us in the last months has been pretty random, or a reskin... At least the models are good, if not pushing the bounds of tf2 models a little. Better than the pomegranate that is polycount.
