Urgh, wish I still could use my desktop to see what you editted in. I see only a few of them, so pardon me on doubles that we both may have posted already. I dumped these in a hurry because I had to get off my desktop also, so I might have repeats in by accident. Sorry it took so long, I'm going back and forth apps on my iTouch to get this posted.

Omni Wrote:CoB, while you are correct, it would be something I would orgasm to only if it's the original MegaMan or if it was X. That's the MegaMan from MMBN, and though I played and finished it, he's one of the least favorite alternate MegaMans on my list. ;_; I was "oh wow"-ing at the pictures though. Whoever did that = not bad.

Guh? That looks ZX-ish to me. Unless you were talking about a different picture, because all I see is the one Ryanide posted and I don't recall CoB posting anything Megaman crossover-related in here.

*shot for even coming to the defense of RM.EXE* >_>

Smugsnake evo one is amazing. I don't think it'd turn out quite like that though. I'm expecting it to lose its legs and sprout some kind of wings or something.

Making the trainers older was clearly a good move.

oh my bad dawg. But like, .EXE had obvious uniforms/ghet-ups. You can tell judging by the suits that it's more likely to be suitable for exe than ZX. ZX was more armor oriented, IMO.

Looking through that picture again, they still look more like they're inspired by Zero and/or ZX. Especially what with the hair, the eyes, the dynamic poses, the armor joints, and the bulkier legs reminiscent of robots like Classic and X on some of them. I'm struggling to find anything even remotely like EXE in there, and you're looking at someone who is still an active member of what's left of the EXE fanbase.

/nitpick

*is shot for derailing the thread* <_<

EDIT: Because one piece of artwork is completely representative of the entire series' art in general.

Errr, whatever, I'll stop now. I've already made my point, going any further would be absolutely futile.

Id you carefully were to look at once 'slight' armor change in which MegaMan has shades in front of his eyes, it looks more like MM.EXE with the Zero outfit.

No wait, Protoman, not Zero, uuugh. visual below:

Only difference being the outside of the ears and the middle of his chest. However, note that the ZXA armors = copies. If you were to relate it to a MM series, it would more-so belong to the MNZX. But even then, those armors were.. well, I'll try to explain tomorrow.

*thinks that writing down that sentence was a bad move.

ANYONE Found THE SAUCE OF THE PIX?

I'm beginning to adore the gen 5 starters. While they might not look the best (I LOVED Gen1&2) it's growing onto me. The characters look fantastic too, and it was indeed a wise choice to make them older.

keep em coming gaiz :3

I'm going to agree with Khoi on this one. The skintight suits, and the Mega Buster looking thing on the Bulbasaur, the first thing I saw, struck me as being close to .EXE more than the Zero/ZX series. While many of the .EXE bosses had humanoid features, many of the Zero/ZX series did not. I've played through all the ZX and Zero games, as well as EXE 1 & 3~6. The character designs also look a bit more lean in the body as compared to the characters in ZX, which look a bit bulkier.

The Pokemon Fanart Thread - Tay - 2010-05-15

Why are we talking about Megaman in a pokemon thread?
