That's interesting. I never knew you could do that. Can you buy things directly with your steam balance or do you have to convert it to nx first?

You open the cash shop, and click the charge nx button, which pops open an IAP window, where you pick how much you want to charge, and then authorize the game to draw the funds from your steam wallet. Its NX Credit though.

I found that if I use the PayPal option on the Nexon site that it lets me use my credit card without all the runaround that the credit button always gives me, if you want to take the time to set up a PayPal account.

Pretty much any mesos site will sale you NX, just make sure you ask if they have it before. They use the pay by cash method.

Real quick question about this method. Last night I downloaded maple through steam, linked my account, and went to the cash shop and clicked charge nx. It took me to the main "Purchase NX" page on the nexon website. How do I go about using money in my steam wallet?
