All B rank, I have:
-Ignore 18% of monster's DEF
-Total Dmg +3%
-Critical +6%

I'm having a hard time choosing. I know one is probably significantly better than the others, but any suggestions?

I'm a Lv 162 Battle Mage.
My weapon already has +6% total damage.
I have a 55% crit rate right now.
I have the 15% ignore DEF from the Silent Crusader Codex Set.
I don't boss too often, but it's fun every once in a while.

on normal mobs the ignore and total damage are pretty close from what i know, i'd rather have one of the math guys give you an actual answer though, since imo, they're all pretty close.

I believe BaMs have 40% min crit and 50% max, correct?

If so, then your crit multiplier is:
* Now: 1 + (0.55*(0.4+0.5)/2) = 1.2475
* +6% Crit: 1 + (0.61*(0.4+0.5)/2) = 1.2745
% Increase: +2.16% dmg

Since you already have +6% Total damage, adding +3% more total damage only increases your output by +2.8% (1.09 / 1.06 = 1.0283).

If you're spamming Finishing Blow, that has 30% PDR. You haven't mentioned any other % Ignore (Ambition, Codex, Weapon, etc.), so I'm assuming 0% Ignore PDR from "outside sources". Adding +18% Ignore will boost your dmg by:

Vs. 10% PDR:
* Was: 1 - (0.1 * (1 - 0.3)) = x0.93 multiplier
* +18%: 1 - (0.1 * (1 - 0.48)) = x0.948
% Increase: 0.948 / 0.93 = +1.9% dmg

Vs. 25% PDR: x0.825 -> x0.87 = +5.4% dmg

Higher PDRs will result in more +% dmg.

Go with the Ignore 18% PDR.

Aren't their some classes that ignore would be better? Like demonslayers? I think hero's and drks benefit the least off ignore though

Demon slayers, mercedes, buccs post revamp, drks, yes, ignore isn't great on those classes.

Apparently he's a battle mage though. Ignore is very easy to get through more sources than you can get boss damage though, which is why boss damage or bust.

considering also, that at A rank ignore and boss are pretty much equal, and at S rank boss has 5~10% more over ignore... yea, %boss please!

Well, for any monster with 20% or more PDR, the Ignore 18% Defence is better than the 6% Crit, and the PDR Ignore is better than 4% Total Damage on any monster with at least 25% PDR. Considering you're well into the fourth job range, almost every monster you'll be fighting (that you aren't killing in 1-2 hits) has at least that much.

Too bad the +6% Crit Nebulite isn't as good as the others. Honestly, I wanted to get the +6% Crit one just so my Wild Hunter would have over 90% Crit Rate with the Phantom's link skill.

My turn... I can't decide for these 2 classes:

1. lvl 166 F/P, base 20 Luk rest in Int- EW8 already has 15% ignor def on potential. Add another ignor def nebulite or what would be better (more %Int)?
2. unfunded lvl 138 DS- 15% ignor def or 5% crit? Current crit rate is 39% (30+ring+potential line)

On hand I also have 4% damage, % PStat and others. The only ones I don't have (or afford right now) is boss damage.

It's a 17 luk top 3L unique 6% all stat 6% mp 6% luk.
Should I put a: "Luk+ 2%" or a "1 sec+ god mode after being attacked"

I know it's obvious that % LUK helps for dmg, but I would like to know if the benefits of the +1 sec are better overall.
Yes, my question is not for a weapon, but I don't think anyone would want to have a thread everytime someone has these type of questions. Maybe we can dump them all in this thread? xD

use the dmg one.

1 sec invincibility doesn't work until you are actually hit, and if you get super KB'd back, you'll stay super KB'd until your invincibility runs off (been told this by 2 persons on my BL already, so i'll state it as fact until i actually test it).

unless you are a DB, since those has stance, i'd actually recommend the luk instead.

Can confirm this, have +2 sec iframes on my overall. Iframes are nice for Pot Lock/Seduce and JQs though.

Iframes are ridiculously more worth the %stat. I've had iframes forever and they bolster survivability so much. Saved my life a million times.

It seems to have become a free to ask kind of deal so I'll ask here:
Shadower Level 172.
-13% Crit Rate, I am aiming to get Decent SE soon though and I will get 10% more crit rate with Phantom.
-15% PDR Ignore from Monster Book. (Although at times I choose the Von Leon set instead). After Justice I'll get an additional 20% PDR Ignore with Shadower Instinct.
What's better:
4% Crit Rate, 2% Total Damage or 15% PDR Ignore?

glad to know i made the right choice then :3 bought a freaking A-rank nebulite from a friend for 1B, it's +2 second invincibility, and trying to legend my overall and get it to +4 or +5 second invincibility without nebulite.

this DrK ain't going down after seduce+1/1, no-oh >Sad

I once had +2 and +1 on my overall. Not only did they not stack, i got the +1 bonus instead of the +2. So i'm not sure nebulite will stack with potential.
