iTCG Set 5's are here, with the release of the new items AND the combination of the items from Set 1 and Set 2. That's right guys. Not only will this deflate the Storm Caster Gloves and Face Stompers, but the whole shebang.
Notice that when the Set 1's were gone, the Totem Poles and Subani Ankh's went up slowly, taking the prices of the Attack Work Gloves as well. Not only will people get lower priced items, but the doors to Pirates will be opened wider. People will take this opportunity to get the items that are used by Pirates in the iTCG Sets, which will probably decrease the prices of other classes even more (
).However, can you guys see the trend here? Nexon can care less about the NX-less characters' fun. The releases of boxes sank the prices of PAC's and Chaos Scrolls and White Scrolls. They even released the Erasers and Chairs which people worked so hard far (On example would be that ItsTheCrabb worked several months to get his chairs, but now can get it in an instant).
In conclusion, the economy of MapleStory wil be an epic fail and will fall flat on its face.

It never ends does it? Nexon is forever carelessly changing the rules when and wherever it suits their profits. And yet, because people like the game, they'll bite.
Sorry, off topic. But I'm not a Nexon fan. What they just did, is something they have been doing for years.

great, mother motherfucking SCGs and FaceStompers. I had enough of that pomegranate, to be honest. Because I forged a clean SCG lately, HOPING it'd go up with iTCG5. But it won't, it'll go down. Only good news out of this is that FaceStompers will be cheaper (for me), since I don't own a decently scrolled pair yet.
I don't get Nexon though, with the release of Balance Fury, they should release forging items for C-ilbies to BALANCE it out. But they don't, and instead, does it to SCGs and FS'es. GODDAMMIT.

I new as SOON as WoTC took up the card game that they would re-use cards and iTCG items.
They will cycle them every year or year and a half.
Then eventually phase them out.
Then Phase them in.

This is bad thing?
When investing in buying and saving iTCG items, there's always a risk. Sucks for those who chose to do so, but a deflation for these SCGs and Stompers was needed.

I'd hardly say you can get the chairs "in an instant".
And a lot of stormcasters and facestompers were getting blown up by chaos scrolls, it's good to have a new supply.

another thing about announcement is mount covers are in "promotional price" so after this limited time covers will be 4.9k nx wth >_<
about ITCG, i guess this is good and bad, filling market with pacs, chaos and now scg and stompers seems cool to make godly items but just rich ppl can get the major part
and new ITCG sucks, more capes? and hat? 0_o (sword is cool..) nexon filled fm with capes turning any cape useless and now bring more capes? 0_o not just 1 but 2 what in my opinion is a great lack of criativity, since in 5 itcg sets you can find/forge capes in 3 of them

There might be a story behind the Crystal Sword (B> Crystal Sword, Khaini), but its watk is incredibly horrible from what I've heard. 45 atk from a lvl 50 1h sword definitely doesn't beat a 57 atk Traus, a lvl 40 1h sword.
The Stirgeman capes could be upgraded to an HP cape, but that's about the only crazy thing that would "wow" me. And the 13 jump Stirge (which makes as a horrible weapon).

For everything Nexon does, there's always gonna be people bitching about it. I remember people crying cause set 4 gave crappy items, and now because set 5 is giving good items... god.
Merchanting is all about risks, you can't whine every time Nexon adds a drop or retires an item or brings back a 'retired' item, just because you don't benefit from it. In the end, it's their game and they can do whatever they want with it
so suck it up.

Hardly. The EXP Gachapon isn't even worth it. The most you can only get is 100k, and that's not GUARANTEED. Plus you can't even use it if you're over 51, so it balances out even more. Seriously, I haven't even seen one person at the EXP Gachapon at ALL.
iTCG Set 5 exclusive items aren't great at all. A lot of them just sound like collectibles. Well, the items can be upgraded, but they still don't surpass other items. The Nathian Cape can be upgraded to have +100 HP/MP. I do believe I read the Crystal Sword can be upgraded to a level 100 sword with 99 ATT, +3 STR, and an amount of ACC. So the items aren't ALL bad.
Either way, the deflation of Stormcaster Gloves and Facestompers is good. it makes them more affordable, which means they will be in higher demand. Seems to me like more will sell then. In either case, I'm glad deflation will come. It's about time. The items have been milked enough anyways. =/

Besides, knowing Nexon, they'll slowly bump up that level cap.

Deflating FS and SCG = The love. I've been watching those for quite a while now. Having low budget really is troublesome. I personally think that the prices were ridiculously high for nothing.
