You are receiving this message because you are among players who have had their MapleStory account compromised. To provide relief for your loss, we have generated generous compensation packages that best suit your characters needs. These packages contain game items, equip items, various scrolls, and mesos. This is the first time we are extending this offer, but we hope to make it a permanent part of the MapleStory support policy to provide faster response to players who have had their accounts compromised.
Next Steps:
The compensation package that you will receive will depend on the character that receives it. Each package is catered to the job, class, and level of your character. You will only receive ONE package, so carefully consider which character you would like to receive the compensation package.
We will be rolling out the distribution of these packages in the next few weeks. When the packages are ready, the following will happen when you login into MapleStory:
- A message prompt will ask you if you would like to receive the compensation package on the character that is currently logged in. If you do not wish to receive it on that character, simply logon to the desired character.
- After you have logged onto the desired character, press Accept on the message to receive the package.
Thank you very much for your unyielding patience as we know you may have waited long. We will contact you once again once these compensation packages have been rolled out in the game.

Bet the mesos are something like 10m and I wonder what kind of scrolls and game items it contains.

I also don't like the "only receive compensation for 1 character" thing. Something tells me this won't make up for my losses considering my estaff alone will most likely be worth more than all they give me put together.

I just got this message. Definitely won't make up for my Aran's losses, but it feels good that they acknowledged their failure and offered something. At least they did that much. Hopefully as they improve this service they'll be able to give back everything lost to more recent victims.

haha im expecting you guys who got hacked to get this:
-100mil
-50k maple points
-lvl 120 reverse gears of your class for 120+ everyone else gets w/e gears appropriate for you lvl
-60% scrolls of your class weapon or GM scroll if they're really that generous
-a note saying they're sorry

All they do is spam me each week for every open ticket I have. Trying to check to see if I have any responses to anything but apparently I don't have the authentication to do that.

last october i got my drk hacked she was like 15x among with perfect spears sky skiis and pinaka, even all of my chairs were all taken, polarbear ryko dragon chairs all the boss chairs, AND they deleted all my characters. i doubt nexon is going to do anything more than 10 mil mesos and 60% scrolls to "fix" being hacked.

That in no way is indicative of the amount of items/meso a person has lost. Your highest char might be lv 50 but you spent most of your time merching and had amassed billions in items...guess you wont be getting much.

Restoration to the hacked individuals will surely be inadequate. The best solution for the playerbase is to fix the vulnerability so this doesn't keep happening.
