Monster park - DucksGoQuack - 2011-09-24

I have two questions about monster park. Beta testers can probably answer these best.

1. How do we go in?

Is it once a day? Do we pay each time? Do we have to find 10 tickets to enter each time?

2. How good is the EXP?

Will it be as big of an increase in training speed as LHC was for people 120+?

1. How do we go in?

You talk to the Monster Park Shuttle NPC in any big town.
You need to exchange 10 ripped ticket pieces for 1 ticket. Ripped ticket pieces can be obtained through monsters.
However, you can choose to buy up to 3 tickets from the NPC Mary which does not require anything at all except your meso.

2. How good is the EXP? Will it be as big of an increase in training speed as LHC was for people 120+?

Monster Park is good, but since your version keeps the party play zones, I think LHC and Ellin Forest will be good EXP for +120.
Tespians can probably answer this question better than me.

How hard are the tickets to find and how long do we get to stay inside once we're in? I'm hoping that they're as easy as that one other ticket event, i.e., every monster drops 'em and it wouldn't take more than 20 minutes (for a good mobbing class) to find 10.

I'm mostly asking for my i/l mage. It's 109/110 right now, and I was hoping monster park would help me get to 120 in a reasonable amount of time while still playing casually.

Thanks for the info, though.

I don't know if the lvl of the mob changes the drop rate but on Tespia, it took me 5min to get two pieces on red dragon turtles. If you find Treasure mobs, they also drop tickets.

The drop rate of the ripped ticket pieces is not that great in my opinion.
@EmpireSun: Doesn't your server have increased exp & drop rates? Treasure Monsters are rare to find. If you're lucky to find one, you have to hope it's a Treasure Monster that's near your level or else it will drop ripped ticket pieces that you cannot use.

As for your second question, Ellin Forest and Neo City are changed to party play zones. I've heard great stuff from my guild members when they were doing Ellin Forest. No idea about Neo City, but the monsters there are closer to your current level.

Ellin Forest and Neo City weren't changed to party play in GMST data. They were changed to what they were after they lost their party play.

Oh, that's right. Nexon Korea changed Ellin Forest and Neo City back to a regular zone in the mage update of Jump. My bad...

Can anyone beta tester try out the new monster park on a 100 - 120 character and let me know how the exp is?

Well from what I've been told by both KMSers and a few tespians, MP apparently isn't as good as LHC as far as leveling up, which is a huge bummer since I am really really really bored with LHC. Someone PLEASE correct me if I am mistaken.

Monster Park sucks.
Only supporter is Swordstaker.

I will support the rarity-of-tickets-being-overblown that this post sort of hints at, I was at Rash testing AA and it took less than 2 minutes to pick up 5. Drops may have been increased this time around, but I can't remember it happening any other time.

Edit: Now that I think about it, Cornians don't share the same drop rate in tickets because that's where I went next and didn't find a one in around 5 minutes.

I really wish people would read what I say instead of just seeing "monster park" and shooting from the hip.

How good is the for someone LEVEL 100 - 120, not 120+. The kinds of levels that don't have access to LHC. And please don't compare it to other areas I don't know (ellin forest, neo city).

LHC is 110+ btw.

Not for me. I'm not going near there til I can use chain lightning. People below 120 have no business being there, and I hate leechers/beggars who think otherwise.

Crockies aren't that bad.
Admittedly I only went to LHC sporadically before 120, but post 120 it wasn't that bad. Started at Bears at around 127. It was great.

DucksGoQuack Wrote:People below 120 have no business being there, and I hate leechers/beggars who think otherwise.

So...what's the point of Crockies, then?

Also we lost Ereve as a "Party Play Zone" in the GMST data, so LHC is the only viable training zone upon hitting 110+.

Monster park - Locked - 2011-09-24

I can't file a complaint either. Since their bug form is bugged (the irony).

I know if we complain when it's live they'll say it's "intended" for "balance" >_>

you are really missing out on some great leveling:f6: 110-120 in 4-5hrs at LHC crocs is beast

That's a crying shame considering your class is awesome as of 4 days from now.

Monster park - DucksGoQuack - 2011-09-25

I think I should add that I play on Kradia, so finding a party that'll take me is near impossible.

I'm also not 110 yet, and getting there at krus is the most boring thing I'll ever do.
