The idea of it is this: each person to sign up submits to me (via PM and not publicly) two of their favorite songs. They can be rap, rock, video game themes, classical... anything, really. I will then randomize the picks into an elimination bracket and the voting ensues. I'll be accepting submissions in the form of youtube videos or actual MP3, etc. files, so send me whichever is more convenient for you. I have a mediafire account, so I can throw any MP3s I get up there. For this first tournament, I'm thinking 16 people, 2 picks each so we have a good number for standard elimination. Depending on turnout, the number of participants/submissions may change in future tournaments (if they happen).

If you want to sign up, do the standard numbered list and send me a PM containing links to your songs (youtube or a download) as well as each song's title and the artist (note: artist is not really needed for video game music, and a composer is fine for classical). Once the submissions are in and the bracket is set, anyone, participants or not, may post votes. You don't have to vote for every single battle in each round, but try to - the more votes, the better. So... Yeah. I'll be participating in this too, so I'll start off the signup list. And to reiterate: send me picks in a PM, don't post them here. I'll be posting them all when we start sans usernames, so everything is anonymously submitted. If you want to try to guess who submitted which songs, go for it, just don't confirm anyone else's guesses (at least not until you're knocked out).
