Personal twitters are only for narcissistic douchebags who think people care about every little thing that comes to their mind.
Corporate twitter accounts are amazing though. You can find the best deals via twitter. Also plane tickets.

I actually have one to follow some Japanese people and see what they're doing, especially doujin artists, etc. There's actually 'some' interesting thinks people will link from time to time, depending on who you follow. Especially if it's popular people, if it's just your everyday friends you socialize with, you're going to be bored and think it's annoying, yea. Oh, oh, oh, and yeah, coupons and sh`it. You're right about that.

I don't. I'm kinda agains't using it to make your life public. Like some i see in there, they go like:
"Hello world, time for breakfast, i'm back!, brb bathroom, back!, nothing to do, i'm bored
, time to cook something, back, time to watch TV, time to take a shower, good night twitter"What the hell is the point of this? Using it for chatting with someon is interesting, or a corporate twitter to have a more personal way of interacting with consumers. But what the hell is this supposed to be? It's just purely narcissistic. :S

thats the thing.. my facebook status updates are mostly from twitter. Twitter is more easily accessible than facebook itself on my phone.

-highfives- You can actually start conversations with random people you don't know that way as well, or look up things that are relevant to your interests via hashtags. Though there are some atrociously stupid hashtags that nobody would ever look up..

I just started following you. I love using Twitter. I don't tweet as much, but when I do, I put as much effort into it as I possibly can. Sarah, for example, I just had one, that I'm really proud of. It went along the lines of, "I love this sandwich I am eating. Peanut Butter and Jelly is my favorite." I don't know why you wouldn't follow me!
