i have experienced it on my laptop, maple takes 2 up to 5min to start, not on my desktop tho.

I still dont get why you call your laptop, "labtop". for me, it never took more than 2min to load maple, yesterday, after the patch was done, it took like 5min to load on my laptop lol.

OT: I rarely experience the delay since mech patch! Even though each time i start the game,my resoultion goes from 1400x990 to 800x600 then the game loads o.o

Yeah this sux balls... WinXP here, it takes 3minutes to load...
But while it's "loading", it doesn't do anything for minutes, just 1% CPU usage... This while the harddisk is spinning and seeking like mad (weird?).
If only Nexon hired a group of PROFESSIONAL game engine programmers for once...
- Fix game launch
- Fix memory leaks @ squad bosses
- Fix all WinOS compatibility
Geez... it's 2011 people... can't game companies write correct 2D game engine's anymore? o.0

been playing maple on win7 64bits, never experienced any OS issue, can do zak twice, then papu, then GB w/o reseting graphics or restarting client just fine. the only issue i have is sometimes i need to CC 2-3 times for it to work, otherwise, since BB patch, maple is running flawless on my win7 64bits.

Yeah I experience delay, I'm running Windows XP on my MacbookPro, and it takes a good 3-4 mins for the window to appear in 1200x900 resolution. Of course it loads up in windowed mode.
Delay makes me concerned and freak out :c

I only get the delay on my 2nd PC, its like 3-4min til the window comes up, then it's black for another 1-2min before the Wizet/Nexon start up animations appear.

And then there's my friend who calls her computer "the lagtop", and for good reason.
Getting this slow startup here, too, but I don't consider it that "game breaking". The lag inside the game is getting to me, though.

Hmm I just tried launching the game and it took about 30 seconds which is a lot longer than usual... Great now I have to deal with a delay as well as the game crashing about 20 times before it will let me log in.

As for the topic, I don't experience delay in opening the game.

This delay is really interesting because it doesn't happen on all my computers. It seems to happen for older computers, and it seems that the delay is longer the older the computer is (probably because the computer is slower).
It's like a 3 min delay for the computer to do anything, then the screen turns black and it's another 2 min before it shows the nexon logo. I never see the hackshield thing so idk when it's running but it must be either when the screen is black or while it's doing nothing. Once it ran in the very beginning then did nothing, but other times it does not.
I'm loading maple on the new high resolution in full screen mode and use XP.
