Vacation Giveaways - Eos - 2011-01-26 Another random way you can help support Southperry while reaping a few fringe benefits for yourself at no real cost. Vacation referral program - http://www.southperry.net/vacations.php Not for everyone, but rather enjoyable for people who like to travel and enjoy getting weekends for free at various places for a change of scenery. Decent reputable company I've worked with for over a decade, painless process to go through and generally nice perks. Vacation Giveaways - Corn - 2011-01-26 Exactly how do they make money? Vacation Giveaways - Eos - 2011-01-26 By convincing you in your 90 minute tour how wonderful they are and getting you to buy, of course. Besides, they book your free visits the same way orbitz gets you cheap hotels, by padding their own cancellations and unbooked rooms with potential buyers because the chance to make money beats a room just sitting there doing nothing any day. I got at least six free visits out of them while they tried to convince me to buy. Vacation Giveaways - Felicitates - 2011-01-26 What if I don't live in any of those states....? Vacation Giveaways - Eos - 2011-01-26 Delicae Wrote:What if I don't live in any of those states....? Depending on where you're at one of the locations may be near enough to drive to fairly easily, but obviously if you're not then it's not worth your time. Was that really requiring a "what if"? Vacation Giveaways - Felicitates - 2011-01-26 That was the only way I could phrase the question. I was just curious to see if they'd include airfare or not. Curiosity! Vacation Giveaways - Eos - 2011-01-26 Delicae Wrote:That was the only way I could phrase the question. Nope. The stay is free, you have to get there yourself. Same for the Orlando and Las Vegas vacation they usually give you as a follow-up for going. The Orlando one comes with a mini cruise as I recall. It's a nice way to see the Bahamas and Disney in one shot. Vacation Giveaways - Pixie - 2011-01-27 Oh wow. It actually sounds too good to be true, haha. Sadly, I'm nowhere near the US. Vacation Giveaways - Jamie_Kurosawa - 2011-01-27 Any fine print terms and conditions? Vacation Giveaways - Eos - 2011-01-27 Jamie_Kurosawa Wrote:Any fine print terms and conditions? Not that I recall. It's pretty straightforward. Go to the 90 minute demo, buy or don't, enjoy your stay, go home with whatever the prize du jour is. If you play hard to get they tend to keep trying (as in more free weekends) unless you specifically ask them not to. Vacation Giveaways - Netto - 2011-01-27 Quote:CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, MO,or TX. .... I swear, I'm being tempted more and more as each day passes
Vacation Giveaways - Jamie_Kurosawa - 2011-01-27 Highly surprised CA and HI aren't listed... :f6: Vacation Giveaways - Link - 2011-01-27 Bah. I live nowhere near any of those states. I wonder why Virginia isn't a part of that. Virginia Beach is a big tourist attraction. Vacation Giveaways - Netto - 2011-01-27 I agree Jamie and ShiKage. Seriously. That's what shocked me after I got off my GA-vacation-high. I wonder if it's because both California, Virginia and Hawaii are big tourist states. Vacation Giveaways - Jamie_Kurosawa - 2011-01-27 You would think the amount of unused Hotel rooms in those states would be high during the tourism offseason. Vacation Giveaways - Berzerk - 2011-01-27 This seems sketchy. Vacation Giveaways - ThatWasMyKil - 2011-01-27 Pixie Wrote:Oh wow. It actually sounds too good to be true, haha. Vacation Giveaways - SaptaZapta - 2011-01-27 The "fine print" or "catch" is that you need willpower matching Eos' to avoid ending up buying a vacation home you can't afford, don't need, will hardly ever use, and will be unable to get rid of. *At least, that's what happens elsewhere in the world. US laws might be good enough to prevent these people from writing the sort of contracts they do elsewhere, that you can't get out of. Caveat Emptor. Vacation Giveaways - Sarah - 2011-01-27 You guys have seriously never heard of these offers? You'd have to have a severe lack of willpower to end up caving in and buying something you don't want/need/can't afford. If you're even afraid this is a possibility you probably shouldn't own a credit card either. Vacation Giveaways - Shidoshi - 2011-01-27 This exists in Brazil as well. They have people that are quite good talkers trying to convince it's really a good idea to buy those things. I would certainly go to those trips since I'm one the least capitalist people I know, it's hard to convince me to buy something. |
