I am fairly knowledgeable on the delicate topic of Southperry as a pretty old user, but I am known to

So you came here to this Maplestory forum with no idea what would happen. Perhaps you are a refugee from Sleepywood, trying desperately to escape Adura's wrath. Or perhaps you were fed up with Basilmarket's community and wanted to have a smarter forum with the same comfort zone as Basilmarket. Or, as 99% of the people here, just wanted to see Fiel's extractions. This guide will help you familiarize yourself with Southperry, the land of chinchillas, pineapples, and opossums. Detailed explanations of every forum, popular threads, inside jokes, traditions, memes, and moderators will be posted. Please note that even though the MapleGuides event does end, this guide is by no means completed. After all, you could as well be creating a significant thread, become a moderator, or create a stupid meme.

Oh...er...um...go quote the contents in this thread and you'll see. Yeah.

How do you put an image here?
Go to imageshack.us or any other image-uploading website. Then, upload your image. Copy the "direct" url of the picture. Then, here, you insert it between these [noparse][IMG]image[/IMG][/noparse] tags. Try to put it into a spoiler so people with slower connections won't have to see a partially loaded image. It will also save space (on your post) and your post will look neater. Oh, and don't quote unspoiled images. Such a waste of space. If you have to quote something with a picture in it, remove the picture please.

How do you insert a URL and name it?
Use the [noparse]http://url[/noparse] tags. In the [noparse][url][/noparse] portion, enter = and then your website, so then it'll look like this:

Then, put the text you want to appear in between the two tags. The finished result should look like this:

How do you put a Youtube video here?
Use these [noparse][YOUTUBE]youtube tags.[/YOUTUBE][/noparse] For the video, make sure you only have the number and letter part. For example, in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnQzG2CXngI you only put TnQzG2CXngI in between the tags. The finished result should look like this (without the spoiler):

What are the subtitles that appear below the avatar?
It varies with how many posts you have. For example, when you first sign up, you'll see it's Electron. It will slowly change as you post more posts. However, you can make a custom subtitle if you are a donator or a moderator.

Nah. If you search members via post count, you can see that Hazzy has Mary Poppins. My assumption would be that you get that one at 1k posts unless you have a custom user title. Redface
