Going to guess they'll fall under the Aran ring problem all over again: People will notice the stackability, people will report, and it'll be fixed so only one ring can be equipped at a time.

Quest is glitched or something so you can only do it once I believe. He keeps telling me you've already upgraded for today, but I'm horrible with keeping track of time anyways so I could be wrong.

What happens for me is:

>I'd like to upgrade my Ring
>Gaga says, "You've opened the box" or something like that, "I'll upgrade it now"
>Nothing happens

If I try again he says I've done it already today.
I still have the setup item (looks like a stim or an all-cure). I should try discarding it and see whether that changes his attitude.

I did do it the first day and got 25 hp on my previously blank ring. But nothing since.

I think the upgrading problem might be because of the server dates. They seem to be messed up in regards to quests, that dang 7 day market quest been poping up every day for me at least. Just make sure to report it so that they do not mess it up in the live server.

I think the 7th day market quests are just buggy.
Both the "tomorrow is 7th day market" and "7th day market" quests pop up for me, together, every day. That should not happen, no matter what the server time is.
At least they can both be accepted, completed, and disposed of. I am so sick of that lightbulb...

look in one of the modules for equips in the game. they're basically an "afk for an hour, get a prize" item. But in this case, the rings are pretty baller.

In that case that's the bug that needs to be reported. Gaga should tell you to take the ring off before he attempts to upgrade it.

EDIT: If you are talking about the first upgrade, then you are wrong. That happens automaticaly after an hour without Gaga or the potion needed.

And this when my "dc if you don't do anything for 5 minutes" vista issue comes back. I can only hope whatever their fix for the meso exploit broke when it brought back my dc issues is resolved with BB.

Asides from this, I hope that they make this event last more than the 17 days required to get one ring to max stats. I'd like to get them on at least 10 characters of mine if possible and even with the maximum possibility of 3 PCs running, I'd rather not have to play checkup on MS for 4 hours a day. I'm sure others would be more that willing to do this, but I'm not as crazy as I used to be.

More on topic: I hope that they are at least usable with other event rings. If so, I'll only need one more ring to be rid of this zombie effect. Which I suppose could be reserved for a wedding ring should I ever care.
