30% damage against bosses question - street - 2010-09-01 Seeing that we might get the lvl 127 weapons have a few question regarding potential boss damage. 1.Is it possible to get 90% damage against boss monsters? 2.For those with boss damage how many cubes did it take? 3.Is boss damage attribute only available when your item is unique? Also in the potential thread their was a discussion regarding the 1st line is your primary stat/gain throughout your cubing. Does this hold true for weapons? I thought potential stats were random. 30% damage against bosses question - CarrionCrow - 2010-09-01 street Wrote:Seeing that we might get the lvl 127 weapons have a few question regarding potential boss damage. 1. No Boss damage does not stack. 2.As many cubes as it would take any item to get to unique and after that to get desired option. Random. 3. See 2. 30% damage against bosses question - Shidoshi - 2010-09-01 1. +% boss damage doesn't stack. 2. 3. It's a bonus available at Unique so yes, though there have been some reports of unique bonuses on rare/epic items (really uncommon though). 30% damage against bosses question - Illusion - 2010-09-01 I actually thought 30% and 20% boss damage stack? 30% damage against bosses question - Kalovale - 2010-09-01 Illusion Wrote:I actually thought 30% and 20% boss damage stack? I'd also like to know if any archmages got their staves/wands to have this bonus. I'd be able to kill pap in about 6 minutes with this bonus if it works how I think it works

Therefore, its pretty safe to say it does not. 30% damage against bosses question - Kabanaw - 2010-09-01 Sn1perJohnE Wrote:If it doesnt stack for 2 weapons, then it would be completely unfair with it stacking on 1 weapon. Never, ever, assume something would not work because it would be unfair in this game. 30% damage against bosses question - street - 2010-09-01 So no one is 100% show that the boss effect doesn't stack on one weapon? Also what does 30% damage convert to in attack? Is it apple damage? 30% damage against bosses question - Kabanaw - 2010-09-01 street Wrote:So no one is 100% show that the boss effect doesn't stack on one weapon? Also what does 30% damage convert to in attack? Is it apple damage? 30% damage translates to 30% damage. As in, if your regular DPS is 100k it's 130k against bosses. 30% damage against bosses question - Kaasoljoyyx - 2010-09-01 We already have confirmation that 30% and 30% does NOT stack [the sky ski]. But the stubborn people are saying 30% and 20% damage does stack even though they have zero proof. Edit: this is on a single weapon 30% damage against bosses question - Kalovale - 2010-09-01 street Wrote:So no one is 100% show that the boss effect doesn't stack on one weapon? Also what does 30% damage convert to in attack? Is it apple damage? +30% Atk. If you have 300atk total, yes, it's the same as an Apple. 30% damage against bosses question - Random_Overlord - 2010-09-01 Your best bet with lv 127 items is to get these stats: 12%/9%/9% w.att / m.att / Total damage The + 30% damage on bosses is only added to skills which is very small compaired to % att & total damage. Total damage is added on top of your end damage after crits and skills. So +30% total damage is great to have if you hit 100k since it'd add 30k damage. % att is also great since it adds a % of your total attack, so if you have about 200w.att total, you could get about 60 extra w.att if you have 12/9/9, and then some if you used an apple. 30% damage against bosses question - Goals - 2010-09-01 Random_Overlord Wrote:Your best bet with lv 127 items is to get these stats: Are you saying 30% isn't an outside multiplier for the damage formula when attacking bosses? I remember eyeballing roughly a 30% boost to my damage on my hits on bosses. :x 30% damage against bosses question - WingZero - 2010-09-01 Random_Overlord Wrote:Your best bet with lv 127 items is to get these stats: % total damage stacks with pots, but % damage does not. 30% damage against bosses question - Sn1perJohnE - 2010-09-01 Random_Overlord Wrote:Your best bet with lv 127 items is to get these stats: ..........For weapons, the boss damage is best, + % total damage. +% w/m att is only good as a temporary use when upgrading. 30% damage against bosses question - street - 2010-09-02 Thanks for all the useful information, now i know what stats to keep now 30% damage against bosses question - Kalovale - 2010-09-02 Random_Overlord Wrote:The + 30% damage on bosses is only added to skills which is very small compaired to % att & total damage.

Disinformation is bloody worse than no information at all when it comes to these things. 30% damage against bosses question - Resonance - 2010-09-02 Random_Overlord Wrote:% att is also great since it adds a % of your total attack, so if you have about 200w.att total, you could get about 60 extra w.att if you have 12/9/9, and then some if you used an apple. %WATT doesn't multiply the attack from arrows/stars/bullets or potions/buffs, so %PrimaryStat > %WATT with big attack potions. |
