[Dual-Blade] No Cash-Shop Mastery-Books = No 4th Job Dual-Blade? - Devil - 2010-07-15

I was bored so I made this heavy mutilated Dual Blade build, in case you don't buy Cash-Shop Mastery-Books:

1st Job (10~20 = 31SP)
----------------------
10 Double Stab
-> Save 21 SP's

2nd Job (20~30 = 30SP)
----------------------
10/10 Triple Stab
19/20 Mastery
20/20 Booster

-> Left over SP's: 2
0/20 Nimble Body
+2 => 2/20 Dark Sight
0/20 Disorder

2nd Job+ (30~55) = 76SP)

20/20 Fatal Blow

18/20 Dark Sight

-> Save 20 SP

3rd Job (55~70) = 45SP)

3rd Job+ (70~120) = 150SP)

-> Left over SP's: 75

+10 => 20/20 Endure
+19 => 20/20 Disorder
+19 => 20/20 Nimble Body
+10 => 20/20 Double Stab

-> Left over SP's: 17 => No -POSSIBLE- place to put them into, -EVERYTHING- is maxed.

Conclusion:
Since you will have 25 left over SP's -forever- (untill you buy the mastery books), you're not able to put any SP's into 4th job skills, or even better: you can't job advance to 4th job... Fail Much Nexon? :')

Advise:
Don't start playing Dual Blade, unless you have enough NX to spend all SP's untill 4th job... :')

Edit: Corrected Double Stab to max to lvl20 instead of 10... still, 17 too much SP's to advance...

Hmmm I forgot Double Stab -can- go up to 20, so that's 10 less SP's from the total 25 I said before, but still, you'll end up with this:

lvl 10~120 = 330+2 = 332 SP's

20/20 Double Stab
20/20 Nimble Body
20/20 Dark Sight
20/20 Disorder

10/10 Triple Stab
20/20 Mastery
20/20 Booster

20/20 Self Haste
20/20 Fatal Blow
20/20 Endure
5/20 Slash Storm (No Skillbook = Maxed @ lvl5)

That Tornado-Spin is only 1x 20 SP's right? because in Fiel's skill tables is mentioned as 2 different attacks (3rd job lvl55~69)

You'd be better off hunting Ilbi and selling those in the FM, buying GFA, MTSing them, then buying the skillbook from the CS.

Huh, i believe you misunderstood how Dual blades and skillbooks work :X

You'll have 17 SP, but you CAN advance to 4th job since YOU CAN SAVE points from a job advancement to another, every single build reccomends to do so. At level 20, for example, my DB has max Triple Stab, 6 booster and a bit of mastery, points that i saved from when i was a rogue.
Also, skills that have no skillbooks used on them are max level 10, not 5. They are like Fourth job skills, Level 10 max, the 20 skillbooks requires the skill at least at level 5.

Upon reaching level 120, you would end up with a few points to put in DB skills, there's no "You can't apply those points in a fourth job skill without using all your 3rd job SP" message like other adventurers.

So, you can advance to the level 120 job, you'll just be weaker due to non maxed skills. Also, regarding Slash Storm, it's a shame. Drops from fucking high leveled bosses or from Lex, whose a level 80 boss.

I think you can only save up and use sp from the 2nd job to 2nd job+ and 3rd job to 3rd job+. I don't think it works from 3rd job+ to 4th job. Though I may be wrong.

How sure are you that you can advance to 4th job with 17 unspend 3rd+ Job SP's at lvl120, that you just can't put into -ANY- skill anymore without buying NX?

Are you 100% sure you -STILL- can advance to 4th job or was it only a wild guess / wishfull thinking? :o

In KMS, the books are pretty expensive.
One of them is like 9.5k, if I recall correctly. And there are like 6.

In Europe they don't work, all you get is local scam sites that don't pay shiet... Anyway, back on topic, why do I have the feeling I'm one of the few here on southperry.net who thinks it's totally fcked up that you can't get to 4th Job Dual Blade without being forced to pay 30k NX for skillbooks? Or did everyone turn into an NX whore here and don't care anymore to pay 30 dollars to unlock a class in a free-to-play game?

I don't really have the idea ppl on sp.net care about a solution anymore for fix this crap?!??!!

Despite it being a solarboy post, he has a point. From the kMS guy, they changed how SP distribution worked like 3 or so times already, so until this hits gMS it's anyone's game.
