Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - iiMarik - 2008-08-15 For me, it could have been better. Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - Itay - 2008-08-15 It was alright. Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - Nightfrost - 2008-08-15 It was alright. I'm a low level priest and I went solo so it was a lot of trying not to die. ![]() I got pinned down by Elderwraith more times then i care to count, which would take 2 mins of spam healing to kill. I'm hoping when I'm in my 80-90's it will be more fun. however I did make it to the JQ pretty early on so it was fun having people yelling "How did you get up there? " lol.
Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - IsaacGS - 2008-08-15 Bad things: Elderwraiths touch damage is toooo high, drops are too rare for quests :x good: everything else. That's a win in my book! I was hoping for a Himes replacement. ![]() But elderwraiths KB animation and high damage and flying kinda ruined that. Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - Doomira - 2008-08-15 I voted "fail" because most of it wasnt cwk, only 1 map was, the last 1, filled with guardians that beat the hell outta me. But when the actual inside of cwk comes out, i think its gonna be awesome

Everything else I've seen is awesome. I just wished the jump quest was harder... I've gone through it twice and haven't died or fallen off. Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - kleptophobia - 2008-08-15 GUARDIANS! I like them, they feel epic... O_o hard to kill on a mage as well. Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - WillDaSnail - 2008-08-15 All I have to say is.........GREAT! Getting 10 Bigfoot kills with Issac (easy crap) = priceless.

Okay, besides the fact that a few people ruined all the fun and killed all the bosses before other people could see them x_x Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - Stereo - 2008-08-15 Bad: Bigfoot killed me 4 times (1hko, I can't run away as fast as he can chase). He's in more than half the forest maps so there's no real way to avoid him (at least not until you finish some quests). Good: Everything else. I am very happy with it. Compare it to the other world tours... it does pretty well. No ducks or cows to kill >_> Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - LoyalOath - 2008-08-15 I am so happy that the weapons aren't ITCG as I expected them to be ![]() Stereo, I'm not quite sure how you're an OHKO if you went on your pally, since it only does around 7k with pg and I'm pretty sure I had that much on My pally when I was 12x, but I don't remember for sure. But also it might not just of been a problem for me since I have max acb and can just stun then wait to get hit by a jr wraith and walk by Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - Arroz - 2008-08-15 it would be very naive of you to judge the content when it is not even a day old, give things time to see the full effect Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - xDae - 2008-08-15 Big Foot and Wraiths need to be fixed Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - PureBalance - 2008-08-15 No spot there is better then skele/jr newt. For me.. nothing to see anymore, back to leafre. Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - xDae - 2008-08-15 Its been confirmed by my guild that 2 or 3 high level (150+) Warriors and a HS mule is pretty godly experience at Guardians Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - Stereo - 2008-08-15 LoyalOath Wrote:Stereo, I'm not quite sure how you're an OHKO if you went on your pally, since it only does around 7k with pg and I'm pretty sure I had that much on My pally when I was 12x, but I don't remember for sure. But also it might not just of been a problem for me since I have max acb and can just stun then wait to get hit by a jr wraith and walk by I'm on my DK, for one thing it gains percentage 3-4x as fast (so I only lose about 20 minutes of training per death instead of 1.5 hours) and for another, it was at a lower percent to start with. The DK has 9100 HP and no Powerguard to save it =x. Most of the percentage was gained while hunting for badges (I gained about 30% exp so far just doing quests). Paladin is iffy, I do have about 7700 hp but Powerguard only drops 12000 to 7200 so I'd need to keep my HP full. I'll wait until I level up (I don't have max ACB yet anyway). Oh and my DK has completed a lot of the original NLC quests while my Paladin has not. I just never really wanted to hunt NLC stuff as a WK, and I still don't look forward to it. Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - Xaorath - 2008-08-15 For me, it wasn't as good as I was hoping. Being a bishop, I don't really gain anything from this area at all. Every monster there gives less EXP than the ones that are already available in leafre except for the guardians. The bigfoot boss is immune to holy, the guardians are immune to holy. The magician weapons are all from gachapon except for the Arcade Staff which is actually pretty nice for a luck magician, which I'm not. Even if the magician weapons weren't gachapon, I couldn't use them since they are for mages. The pots appear to be forged with iTCG items, though I'm not 100% sure about that yet since the quest items are unbelievably rare and I haven't had time to complete the quest that allows you to buy stuff from Mo. Also NxProse made it sound like the monsters would be dropping rare skillbooks that are currently inflated, instead they drop Holy Shield 30's which were already selling for 500k prior to the patch. Despite the area being pretty much useless to me, It's still got it's good points. The artwork and music are the best in the game if you ask me. I really hope they put as much effort into the design of future maps as they seem to have put into CWK. Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected? - Muse - 2008-08-15 I loved every single bit of it. Even the 30 year old version of Naruto. About the guardians, They were awesome, to the mages crying about not being able to kill them easy: Get the pineapple over it, we have alot of maps to train on. I think the guardian is a small nice treat for warriors. They do need to fix the HolyShield30 bug though. The new swear system is alot cooler, i'm happy to see those popups gone. I havn't had a chance to check out the new pet commands. Overall, This is one swell patch we have recieved. I can't wait to see what else we get for Masteria.
