This is sorta of a rare sight to see someone at this level possess this book that is a HT drop........

Bought it for a nice price from a friend of mines. Won't say how much, but I didn't overpaid for it (spare the other F/P's in my server, where their #'s are the lowest compared to other classes).

But yeah.. Meteo 30 isn't really that great. Blizzard 30 is like 450m, isn't it? The price different is srs lulz. But hey, it's as powerful as Blizzard, isn't it? The FaP mages that have worked hard to get to 13x~14x don't have to go through that nasty feeling of blowing 450m on something that has a 50% chance of working.

To answer your question -

Blizzard and Meteo have the same base atk power (with the exception of Blizzard having the freezing ability) - but you're right about one thing. F/P's are generally the "lulz" due to the fact they're the LEAST popular class in GMS (due to the fact they number the lowest out of any other classes).

But its great when a book is avaliable to you for a great price, knowing that you won't (or I should say, no) competition getting em. You can even fail one and say "okay, I'll get another one!"

(Sucks for the I/L's though - here in Khaini, Blizzard goes for 100 ~ 150m, which is considered a huge chunk of money. But holy crap, 450m - which server sells it for that much?!)

I find it funny how small the f/p population is. People think that they're so terrible, when they really aren't at all. Whatever, let people bandwagon other mage classes. It'll keep your skill books are cheaper, and those sexy elemental staffs for fire and poison I'd imagine would be really cheap in comparison to i/l ones. Big Grin

Time changes everything. Meteo30 is like 10 mil in Khaini now. Blizz30 is like 60mil. They use to be 100-200mil but no doubt they're gonna drop even lower.

TT30 is 400mil lool.

The mage class is actually pretty unpopular in general. (In Broa at least)
In fact most of the old F/Ps and I/Ls have quit to make new characters.
For some reason it's either a dexless Sin, Bishop to be, or a level 10 and wait forever for pirates.

Also, I would have lol'd if someone looted that skill book when you dropped it.

I wouldn't say that (however, if there's a high demand for Meteo 20's, that might be a new problem by itself. There are probably a good # of fresh F/P Archmages that need Meteo 20......)

Its been a fact that only the VERY few F/P's that are high-leveled and meet the preresquites can pass Meteo 30 in Khaini (you probably know by now since you've been around too long xD). Therefore, prices plummented on them (literally, they're becoming the pain-in-the-runt for HT groups, since they cannot make profit on them ;D. Dunno if its true or not, but economics speak the truth. ;D)
