New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - jrvillarreal - 2008-07-24 There is a patch scheduled on the 30th, and We know crimsonwood is coming in early august due to the data in my E3 thread. We have no idea when pirates could be coming, but other versions are set to recieve it simultaneously (except korea, who already have it) on the 30th. Could it be possible that the Crimsonwood keep and pirate job come in one, massive, over-24hour patch that starts on the 30th, extends THROUGH the entire July 31, and finishes sometime in August 1st? (early august) I thought this was an interesting, unmentioned, and very possible idea ![]() ZOMG!!!! HUGE THATNK YOU TO FIEL FOR ADDING SHINY EYES. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

There's no way we'll get pirates and crimsonwood at the same time, it's just too much. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Berzerk - 2008-07-24 To much in one patch, they'd basically be giving away their biggest updates in one patch? Not going to happen, even though we all wish. They'd spread it out more. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Corn - 2008-07-24 Nah, this would be more like a New Year's thing. And even New Year's wouldn't even be that long. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Bacon - 2008-07-24 Two huge updates aren't going to be released on the same day. You'll have thousands of complains that there is going to be a 24 hour patch, and a thousand more when people find all the glitches. I'll be happy with just Crimsonwood. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Acim - 2008-07-24 Personally, I hope for Crimsonwood, not Pirates. and maybe it won't be on the 30th, or then again, maybe Nexon was lying and it won't be in early August. We'll see. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - AlterWolfie - 2008-07-24 My guess is that we're a couple patches away from Pirates, close, but not getting it quite yet. -AlterWolfie, who also doesn't think that giving two updates would be very characteristic of their strategy. Just enough to keep us coming back for more. =P New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Loose - 2008-07-24 I'm drooling for Pirates, but still, I think it's better to take it one step at a time. Crimsonwood July/August, Magatia (or Pirates) August/September, interesting Halloween patch NxProse mentioned on October, Thanksgiving patch on November (maybe Krakia?) and Pirates possibly while on Christmas break. I'm wondering if it's possible to get Krakia on October, from what I've seen, it's a place inhabited by cyborgs and Dr. Krakia (which might be scary?). Also, the Commando Turkeys were from that place. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Wani - 2008-07-24 Am I the only one thinking that, since the MSEA exclusive area expansion gave scrolls for pirate gear, Crimsonwood Keep will start them dropping too? Thats true, otherwise a lot of players are gonna suffer from nearly 24 hours of downloading the patch =\ New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Zim - 2008-07-25 It would be nice though if Pirates were released after summer. There'll be less competition in the scroll prices in the beginning ![]() (And of course, a good start in being the #1 Pirate...) New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Jirai - 2008-07-25 I'm sure Nexon wants ALL focus on CK. I also doubt they'll release a new server this patch because of that. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - DrRusty - 2008-07-25 Nexon america is in love with masteria. Theres no way they'd put pirates ahead of it. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Devil - 2008-07-25 Oh trust me, pirates = not this summer! It's all Crimsonwood from now till September / October. Maybe pirates will come out in fall when they've been thouroughly tested in jMS first... 2 Mayor patches in 1 is too bug sensitive, and will take -way- too much time to implement correctly (2 days server check anyone? ).Besides that, more new (even also high lvl player area's) > Pirates. If they would release pirates now, maybe 20% of the players would be enthousiastic because of new content for them, now with new area's for all lvls => everyone gets new content! So yea, next (big) patch = Crimsonwood, Pirates are for later this year! New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Hero - 2008-07-25 No. Just no. But I don't think that's the case at all, since with all the leaked and early release information, there seems to be absolutely nothing indicating Pirates even being hinted at there. The most obvious place to look for this would be the large map render of the front of the fortress, where one can PLAINLY see banners for each of the 4 currently available classes, and a 5th one in the center that is a combination. Were Pirates to be linked to this, I would guess they would have had a banner in place as well. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Hazzy - 2008-07-25 Devil Wrote:. Every poll I've seen has around 85% of the votes going towards making a Pirate. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Rain - 2008-07-25 It will probably go like "July: Crimsonwood" 'August: Nothing -or- Yellonde' September: Yellonde if it is not released in august -or- Pirates October, Novemeber: Events. December: Worldmap + Event. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - IsaacGS - 2008-07-25 Rain Wrote:It will probably go likeSaying "nothing" is silly. We haven't gotten a Nothing patch since last November (and every November patch for Global's entire life span has added nothing.) Anyway, if we're actually going to talk about what's left to add and what's left in the year, we have few decent choices. Magatia is great, but for whatever reason it's almost always held at bay. Elin Forest has crept into our data, and with the recent changes to it Pirates are no longer a prerequisite. then again, there's also no quests in Elin at all so all it really is are a few new 4x and 5x monsters. Iron Mutae and Roids in Magatia are probably way better for this training period anyway. Time Temple's still too new to really be on the table. No need to even really talk about pirates in detail since everyone thinks they know all about them. And then, we're left with world tour areas, which I have come to despise for their overall uselessness. Thailand's Floating Market, a veritable junk-filled swamp, Taiwan's Formosa, which has its' only real saving grace in the form of a "Maybe, one day..." town, and China's Shanghai which is probably the single worst town ever invented. So, what's really left, then? Magatia - Finish up Ossyria/Nihal, Get the Black Magician storyline rolling Elin Forest - The second step of Black magician storyline, references pirates however they're not required Nautilus Port - Pirate Job, more Black Magician Storyline. Generally considered a huge update. Can come before or after Magatia Shanghai - excuse me while I vomit. >_> Formosa - After you beat Snack Bar, you probably won't come back. I hear the quests are frustratingly difficult as well. Floating Market - lol only good training spot is for 1x. So there you have it. 6 areas: 3 good, 3 bad. from now to the end of the year, we've got probably 5 content patches left. We all also know how much Nexon likes storylines and getting Magatia out there definitely sets the base for further additions to both Masteria and Ossyria. We also know they've got something special planned for this halloween, which we can only hope will equal or surpass last year's amazing event (though how they might do this I have no idea.) So, personally, I think it'll be something more like this: Late August - Magatia, no PQ (who expected Mu Lung/Herb Town/Pine Forest after NLC?) Mid September - Area Bosses + Magatia PQ Early October - Whatever amazing Halloween event they have planned Early November - Probably just dumb turkeys as usual. Maybe a crappy world tour area, who cares which one... Early Decemeber - Maplemas vs. Versalmas again, probably with some new twists. our happyville was changed from the CMS version to the KMS version, no way to know if this will stick. Perhaps more Area Bosses will be released. New Idea About CrimsonWood and Pirate Patch - Rain - 2008-07-25 They will probably release Magatia PQ and Magatia together. What about yellonde? |
