Where are/did you train your Cygnus? - MetaSeraphim - 2009-08-12
Well, so far I've only gotten to level 50 on my characters (raising each class up at the same time and I have to catch my NW and TB up before I level anymore) but I've trained them all in basically the same places.
1 - 20 : all on Cygnus quests.
20 - 30 : Cygnus quests/Rocky Masks.
30 - 40 : Cold Eyes.
40 - 50 : Roids.

I really feel like I should go somewhere else now, but I've been too stuck in a rut to experiment. I'm at the point where it's hard to take off large chunks of a level with quests now, too (already completed most of them...).

I'm currently sitting at 89 but once I have maxed Wind Piercing at 94, I'll either do Himes or Jr. Newties.

1-20: Cygnus + Agent Quests
21-30: Mostly KPQ, more Cygnus quests. 30 minute Sand Rats MD for Agent O.
31-35: Mostly CPQ. Maybe a level worth of Curse Eyes.
35-40: Split between Ratz and LPQ. Not enough people on recently for LPQ so my wind archer is still 40 for now. Had some Cpq thrown in for training friend to 35.

77-79: Lower ascent
Future plans: Blue kents to late 8x, gobies to mid 9x, himes to 120.

C-2 was better than MP3 for me, and MP3 is crowded as f'uck regardless of what server you're on. C-2 not so much.

stormbreakers pure spawn. im there now at 81. 50%+/hr on 1.1-1.3x. pot heavy, but really fast. its worth the walk, and if you have a door well pineapple you, i dont! in windia i get a person walk in every hour or so, hit f6 at 5-8 x 4 x 1.5ks, say "whoa", and leave.
goby map is still too strong for me (damn bone fish). dgp is slow as hell compared to stormbreakers. sticking out roids this long is silly, you could be 100+ by now

44-49 Ghost Ship... 4? Whichever one has only Slimies. Moves to only Jr. Selkies during x2. Screw MP3, it's crowded as hell when I play.
50-68 Tornado Corridor! Awesome exp.
69-70+ The Storm Hall. Fighting Stormbreakers who can easily 2 shot me is kind of moxious and I love it, and think I'll keep doing it.
I really need to finish up the quests to get that Mark of Heroism though. The jumping section with the pillars isn't really a danger to me, but it makes resupplying a peach.

I had a regular Zhelm, 10 Dex Earrings, +1 All Broken Glasses, and a 90 att Kandiva.
Typhons are too strong even with that BUT once you have a level 9 Arrow Rain, it's just a matter of your conviction to burn pots for insane exp rate until you max out Wind Piercing, in which case Newties will be better (if you also want to burn pots via taking the whole map instead of sniping).
Typhons get easier by 85 or so and definitely easy at 90. Their touch damage is less than that of Windraiders but it adds up as there are six or more trying to kill you every two seconds and you'll notice your hp pots which would be the barbarian elixir would go down 3x as fast as your mp pots which should be sorcerer elixirs.
