One, that's a lot of money, and two, what do they mean by charity? Is the money actually going to a SG/MY charity? [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - WizMystery - 2009-05-24 ... $6950? Is that the starting price or the final price (if it's a final price it wouldn't really be an auction, would it?) Btw do you mean $5300 for the bow? [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - antikel - 2009-05-24 WizMystery Wrote:... No, $530 for the bow. And yes, it's an auction. Rayquaza2233 Wrote:Two things. One, that's a lot of money, and two, what do they mean by charity? Is the money actually going to a SG/MY charity? And yes, it's for charity, supposedly. Show your support to MDAS (Muscular Dystrophy Association of Singapore) and The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund when you bid for 5 highly sought-after in-game items. 100% of the auction proceeds will go to the charity. [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - darr - 2009-05-24 That's really a lot of money. At least they are donating the cash to charity. Btw, SGD 19 230 = USD 13 250 [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - draconius - 2009-05-24 Does anyone have the price of what they ended up being last time? The Ele wand 7 is almost certainly going to be in the 10s of thousands xD [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - GamerTex - 2009-05-24 I would put my dex gear on for that sleve (after I made it 90atk) Not surprised the SIN item went for the most once again
[MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - ยป-Chris-> - 2009-05-24 That's sad, lol. [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - Kevo - 2009-05-25 I rather like MapleSEA because of this. In the past, there were Cash Shop items where the profits would be given to the same organisation. It would be nice to see Nexon America do something similar. [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - MonkyMagic - 2009-05-25 Kevo Wrote:I rather like MapleSEA because of this. [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - GamerTex - 2009-05-25 I should sell all my items for charity... The "HeroTex gotta pay his bills" foundation Ya that should work [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - Devil - 2009-05-25 If they were REALLY into charity, they put up 100nx items in the cs that you can buy and dont get anything for, and 100% of the revenue is going to a specific organisation... And each month the total revenue is put up the website... This way of charity does not really have anything to do with "giving money to poor people", it's all about zOMFGbbQdaddyBUYmeTHATitemSOthatIcanPWN0RZmyFRI3NDZ -.- [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - Daniel - 2009-05-25 Devil Wrote:If they were REALLY into charity, they put up 100nx items in the cs that you can buy and dont get anything for, and 100% of the revenue is going to a specific organisation... It is stated to which organization this money goes to and with 100nx items the player won't gain anything from the organization would NEVER make even close to as much money as they make of this auction alone. [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - bio9205 - 2009-05-25 Screw you antikel, you beat me to posting this >_> Kidding. Nice work there. On to the article in today's papers: Quote:MORE than 250,000 gaming enthusiasts thronged one of the biggest gaming and electronics fairs, Licence2Play, which was held over three days from last Friday. SGD$19k is around USD$13k, in case anyone is wondering. *Sadistically hopes the boy whose father bought the Sleve for 7k for him blows it up* [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - Devil - 2009-05-25 Daniel Wrote:You obviously lack quite a lot of brain functions, bro. Can't reason with someone without using primitive language? Anyway.... If 100.000 players would buy a 100nx item per month (and I'm not even talking about some players buying 10x or 25x the 100nx item per month, that would gain them $10.000,- per month, each month... and that's a lot more then this single auction... Also it would save the world from richie daddy kidz who don't give a shiet about charity, and are only interested fot the zOMGwtpBBQ item stats... all I'm saying that this stuff has nothing to do with real charity, but it's more about pure greed with a nice cover-up story around it... [MSEA] Real Life Charity Auction 2 - Beaner - 2009-05-25 so much money for those weapons. i am sad cuz i am a poor 3rd world country person and i didnt get any money. |
