So i loged a ticket about skill changes..... - CrazyNomad - 2009-05-15

Well, i was just curios to see what reply nexon would give, since i dont have any skill points left to max mw30 or heros will, (i hit lvl 200 way before the skill changes happened on kMST, so maxed all 4job skill).

heres the reply:

GM Raven Wrote:Greetings,

Thank you for contacting Nexon America's Customer Support team.

I am sorry to hear that you are frustrated about this. However, there is always the possibility for changes to in-game content, and while this is not meant to upset you and the work that you have done on your character, we still cannot reset your Skill Points for you.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience.

Sincerely,

GM Raven

So i guess, i will need to spend $150+ if i want max mw30 and heros will Hurt

Nexon wants money. That's all there is too it.

The game's constantly being changed. Sometimes it's not fair for high levels. It's not that Nexon wants money. Look at the PQs that have been released. High levels can't get slime slippers, godess's gloves, Horus's eye, or any other pq reward. While it does suck that now you can't get Maple Warrior 30 without a ton of money.

But, since you're lvl 200 you can probably make money from bosses pretty fast. Get scrolls and sell them in the MTS. I don't think resetting points into Hero's Will is worth it though.

That is not fair, Nexon should give 14 resets for everyone.

I don't quite see how that's unfair. They're allowed to make changes without compensating you because you didn't save any SP. o-o'

The point is back last year when some of these guys hit 200 there was no concept of mw 30 yet. People just assumed the last 13 points or so left over was to do what ever they like with. No one thought that KMS would make an extension on already existing skills.
Think about what you would do if you hit level 200 and after several months there was no concept of MW 30 or an upgraded Heros Will. Would you use your points on something? More then likely yes you would.
If i hit 200 earlier then I did I know for sure I would of used them on something like maxing booster or getting a higher partial resistance after maxing everything else in 4th job. If this was the case I too would be logging ticket asking for points to be able to max these new skills.

and @ CrazyNomad I heard there was going to be SP reset sales sometime soon Rolleyes

you should've seen this coming since when Suuushi got hacked and the hacker used all his skill points, NEXON refused to reset them for free.

Paladins don't have "extra points", the complete 4th job book currently has Blast(30)+ACB(10)+Holy(20)+Heaven's Hammer(30)+Stance(30)+Rush(30)+Guardian(30)+Achilles(30)+Monster Magnet(30)+MW(30)+Hero's Will(5) = 275 SP, with only 243 total to spend. It used to have 261, which was still too many to max everything.

Ohh. *Wonders why all classes have varying amount of SP at level 200.*

That isn't the same thing. I don't know anything about the circumstances under which he was hacked, but that's just a failure to keep your own account safe and not at all Nexon's fault. Here Nexon is completely changing the way the 4th job book is set up and not giving any compensation. It'd be about as fair as changing Magic Armor, a frequently skipped skill, to a party buff that blocked 40% of all damage, and then going, "sorry, you shouldn't have allocated your SP, not our fault, buy SP resets!"

At level 200 we should be able to max all skills, and I do think that they should give resets to us.

i agree with you, its not my fault, nexon should like reset all lvl 200 4job skill points and let them rebuild the skill tree.

oh well, knowing nexon, they want money.

QFT.

When characters reach 200, all they get is Echo of Hero and a big mount. They deserve something like a "max every skill" coupon or something. 200 is a big achievment and deserves more than just 2 more skills.

So i loged a ticket about skill changes..... - xLeviathan - 2009-05-15

Or just make MW30 a prize for level 200.

So i loged another ticket telling nexon to make an SP reset sale, or making a quest that would give more skill points, GM Raven replied me in less than 2 hours :f6:

I think Nexon should put AP -and- SP (1st to 4th job) Package sales (5 or 10 SP's at once) in the CS -FOREVER-.

When you want to reset a FULL skill the costs are absurd now:

1st job: 20x 2.400 = 48 dollar
2nd job: 20x 4.900 = 98 dollar
3rd job: 30x 9.300 = 279 dollar
4th job: 30x 12.000 = 360 dollar

lol...

Those both sound like automated responses. They just don't look like it at first glance. But they don't ever directly say anything about the ticket.

And yeah, Nexon wants money. Whenever Blizzard updates any talent in the talent tree, (Players can buy all skills, so they don't need a reset for that.) they reset SP for all toons that are of the affected class, no matter the level or if they had any in the talent. It's because the possibility exists that people would want to reset or change their talent selection. And Blizzard recognizes that it's not fair that they changed the talents under their noses, and that they'd have to either spend gold to reset, or wait until they have enough gold to reset. Nexon is the opposite, and won't help the players at all.
