Requirement: Lv. 101 and above characters that have completed the ‘[Maple Momentree] A Tree That Doesn't Grow’ quest (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Accept the ‘[Maple Momentree] Rith and Ellie's Growth Journal’ quest via the star event notifier on the left side of the screen or by talking to Rith to start the event.
  
• After completing the quest, you can check the progress of the event by clicking the Rith and Ellie's Growth Journal UI from the event notifier.
  
• After reaching the daily Memory Token limit, talk to Rith by clicking [Talk] in Rith and Ellie's Growth Journal UI.
  • The [Talk] button can only be used once per day per world.
    
• Depending on the number of conversations, 'Memories of Growth Points' and 'Growth Reward' can be obtained
  • Memories of Growth Points are used to enhance the 'Rith and Ellie' skill effect.
    
• Upon completion of a certain number of conversations, the next floor of <Maple Momentree> is unlocked through a quest.

Weave Infusion:

• You can use it by clicking the [Booster] button on the top left of the Growth Journal UI.

• Boosters can be used if the conditions below are met.
  • After the relevant date, a booster is activated even if only one condition is met.
    
  • However, boosters can only be used by characters who have achieved the daily Memory Token limit on the booster usage date within the world.

Requirement: Lv. 101 and above characters that have completed the ‘[Maple Momentree] Rith and Ellie's Growth Journal’ quest (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• To start defeating Moles, accept the '[Maple Momentree] Defeat Moles' quest from Tirith.
  
• Tirith is located in <Maple Momentree> if at least 1 character within the world has reached the daily Memory Token limit.
  
• Attack and chase away the Mole and Jr. Mole monsters for 2 minutes.
  
• Monsters appear in a total of 12 stages. The level, defense, and HP gradually increase according to the stage.
  
• The score of up to 5 characters within the world can be registered each week. Up to 1,500 points per character and up to 7,500 points per world can be obtained each week.
  • If you record a score that is higher than what was already registered, the character and score will get updated.
    
• You can accumulate one Memory Token per 2 points for each character.
  • Up to 2,000 Memory Tokens can be accumulated each week per world.
    
  • You can claim the accumulated Memory Tokens by talking to Tirith located in <Maple Momentree>.
    
• The score you obtained is reset every Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC.
  
• The points obtained in <Defeat Moles> are applied based on the time at the time of exit.
  • Even if you entered on Tuesday, if the exit time is Wednesday (past 12:00 AM UTC), the points obtained will be registered based on Wednesday.
    
• When a certain amount of points are accumulated, the following chairs can be claimed as a reward.
  • Each chair reward can be claimed only once per world.

Requirement: Lv. 200 and above characters that have completed the ‘[Maple Momentree] It Doesn't Hurt at All' quest and have reached the 2nd floor or higher of Maple Momentree (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Accept '[Maple Momentree] Magic Wardrobe' quest through the star event notifier on the left side of the screen or the Magic Wardrobe located at Maple Momentree to start this event.
  
• Enter wardrobe by clicking the Magic Wardrobe.
  • This event can only be participated in when there is a character that has collected all of the daily Memory Token limits.
    
  • You can only enter Magic Wardrobe through the Magic Wardrobe located on the highest Maple Momentree floor you have reached.
    
• During the time limit of 30 minutes, you can get fear points by defeating the incoming monsters. You can get fear points for each monster you kill, and if you collect all the required fear points for each stage within the time limit, the game ends automatically.
  • The higher the stage of the Magic Wardrobe, the more monsters with higher fear points appear.
    • 2nd Floor / Stage 1 = 100,000 Fear Points
      
    • 3nd Floor / Stage 2 = 200,000 Fear Points
      
    • 4nd Floor / Stage 3 = 300,000 Fear Points
      
• If you click the Magic Wardrobe in the exit map, you can get a reward based on the character's level.
  • The reward is given only once a day per world.
    
  • As the stage of the Magic Wardrobe increases, the amount of EXP that can be obtained increases.
    
• Once you obtain the reward, you cannot enter the Magic Wardrobe additionally on the same day.
  
• If you leave the game or end the game without collecting all the required fear points for each stage, you cannot obtain EXP reward.
  
• The obtained points are applied based on the time of exit.
  
• If you enter before the end of the event and leave after the end of the event, you cannot obtain EXP reward.
  • A confirmation window is displayed when entering from 11:50 PM UTC to 12:00 AM UTC every day.

• To start this event, accept '[Maple Momentree] Happy Playtime! Rocking Horse!' quest through the star event notifier on the left side of the screen or by talking to Ellie of Maple Momentree.
  
• After completing the quest, you will receive the ‘Happy Playtime!’ skill.
  
• If you defeat enemies near your level while the skill is active, the Childhood Innocence gauge will fill up.
  • Every time you defeat 20 enemies, 1 Childhood Innocence gauge slot will fill up and 1 Memory Token is automatically given.
    
  • Enemies near your level are enemies within 20 levels of the character.
    
  • 'Happy Playtime!' skill activates automatically when you enter a hunting ground with enemies near your level.
    
• The conditions under which Happy Playtime! does not activate are as follows.
  • Maps with no monsters near your level
    
  • Maps with Elite Boss summoned
    
  • Maps where another Mapler is already activating Happy Playtime!
    
  • Other special maps (event, Mirror World, Story Quest maps, etc.)
    
• When all 10 slots of Childhood Innocence gauge are filled, Happy Playtime! begins.
  • When Happy Playtime! begins, Rith and Ellie attack surrounding enemies, and you can acquire 20 Memory Tokens.
    
  • However, if you leave the hunting zone by moving to the map, channel, or Cash Shop while the Happy Playtime! is active, the Happy Playtime! ends.
    
• After the Happy Playtime! skill is activated, a toy is summoned to the map, and you can get abundant additional EXP by playing with the summoned toy.
  • The summoned toy can be defeated for up to 60 seconds.
    
  • If you defeat all the summoned toys, Happy Playtime! will end regardless of the remaining time.
    
  • In some maps, toys can be stacked and summoned.
    
  • If you enhance the skill level to level 2, a Monster Block appears instead of a Toy Trojan, and the Monster Block provides twice as much EXP as the Toy Trojan.
    
• After reaching the 2nd floor of Maple Momentree, you can increase the skill level by completing the '[Maple Momentree] Happy Playtime! Monster Blocks!' quest with the character of your choice.
  

Happy Playtime Skill Information:

• Stage 1:
  • Deals 1000\% damage 5 times to up to 10 enemies around the character.
    
  • 20 Memory Tokens are given.
    
  • Summons 4 Rocking Horse (EXP is obtained when defeating)

Requirement: Lv. 101 and above characters that have completed the ‘[Maple Momentree] Rith and Ellie's Growth Journal' quest (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Select 'Taste the <Power Up! Cooking Collection>' menu by interacting with the 'Power Up! Cooking Collection' located in <Maple Momentree> map.
  
• Choose the buff you want from EXP buff or stat buff.
  
• Buff based on the current Maple Momentree floor is applied immediately.
  • The daily buff acquisition count is shared among your characters within the world, and is reset each day at 12:00 AM UTC.
    
• Power Up! Cooking Collection buffs of the same type do not stack.
  • Growing Baby Food Stats Buff + Growing Baby Food EXP Buff = stackable
    
  • Yummy Dessert EXP Buff + Growing Baby Food EXP Buff = unstackable
    
• Rith and Ellie's Growth Journal skill and Power Up! Cooking Collection buff skill can be stacked.
  
• When you log out, the EXP buff will be maintained but the Stat buff will disappear.
  
• Even if you reach the next floor of Momentree, the buff daily use count remains the same.
  • If you go up to the 2nd floor of Momentree on the same day after Growing Baby Food EXP Buff is transferred once, the number of times Yummy Dessert can be transferred will be reduced from 4 times to 3 times. (The number of times the buff can be used will not be initialized).
    
• When you reach the next floor of Momentree, food from the previous floor is no longer usable.

Requirement: Lv. 141-199 characters that have completed the ‘[Maple Momentree] Rith and Ellie's Growth Journal' quest (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Complete '[Maple Momentree] Extreme Dolphin Fountain' quest through the star event notifier on the left side of the screen or by talking to Willy, located on the 3rd floor of Maple Momentree.
  • After that, you can pay 100 Memory Tokens to Willy and participate in the Extreme Dolphin Fountain.
    
  • You can participate up to 2 times per day while on floor 3 of Maple Momentree, and 3 times a day after reaching floor 4 of Maple Momentree.
    
  • Dolphin Fountain is not available on the 1st and 2nd floors of Maple Momentree.
    
• After the countdown ends, Willy shoots the player up into the sky. If you find a golden fish in the clouds you meet while going up, you can continue to fly and level up by 1.
  • The chance of finding a golden fish depends on the level.
    • You can speak with Willy to see the level-up rates.
      
  • The lower the character level, the higher the chance of finding a golden fish.
    
  • Every 10 Extreme Dolphin Fountains, the rate of selecting the highest possible level-up step from the current character level doubles.
    • The rate of selecting the highest possible level-up step from the current character level doesn't increase every 10 Extreme Dolphin Fountains when at Lv. 199.

• You can receive the '[Maple Momentree] Nostalgic Puzzle Game!' quest from the event notifier or Herman located at Maple Momentree.
  • Afterwards, you can participate in the 'Nostalgic Puzzle Game!' through Herman.
    
• 'Nostalgic Puzzle Game!' is a cooperative mini-game in which at least 1 to 3 players need to complete a total of 3 puzzles within a limited time of 30 minutes.
  
• After clearing the Nostalgic Puzzle Game!, talk to Herman to receive 200 'Memory Token x1 Coupon' as a reward for each puzzle game.

• Talk to Lippe at the Maple Momentree map to use the Meso Shop.
  
• Purchased scrolls such as ‘Karma Powerful/Eternal/Black Rebirth Flame’ will be distributed to your scroll bag if you have one with space available in your Use inventory.
  
• Using the Android Ear Sensor Clip after purchase will apply its effects immediately on the android equipped in the character's Equipment window.
  • Before use, be sure to check the Equip tab to make sure that the Android you want to apply the effect to is equipped.
    

Developer Comment:

• The Meso Shop was created to allow players to conveniently purchase items that are hard to obtain or items needed for enhancement. As it makes the process much easier, the prices of the items have been set with consideration to the prices for each world, currency acquisition difficulty etc, so that it wouldn’t have a large impact to the player experience and on the overall market value of similar items that have been distributed. Please understand that there will be differences from the previous Meso Shop prices, and we promise to make any future decisions to the shop will be made appropriately based on player purchase history and feedback.

• The Cash Inventory Transfer Event is back to help you reach the true endgame in FashionStory!
  
• Take this opportunity to move cash items between your characters in the same world.
  
• Follow these simple steps to transfer cash items between your characters:
  • Enter the Cash Shop.
    
  • Pick an eligible item you would like to transfer to a different character, and move it into your Cash Inventory.
    
  • Right-click the item.
    
  • Click the 'TRANSFER WITHIN WORLD' button from the menu.
    
  • Select the recipient of the item from the drop-down menu and click the 'OK' button.
    
  • The selected item will now appear in the other character’s Cash Inventory the next time you log in to that character.

  • This event is available in all worlds.
    
  • You can only transfer cash items between characters in the same world.

Inactive Guild Removal

• As mentioned in our <a href="https://maplestory.nexon.net/news/81923/dormant-guild-removal-with-v-241-update">web post, we will be deleting inactive guilds in order to free up guild names to be used by others.
  
• During the May 3rd patch, guilds classified as inactive will be deleted.
  
• The criteria for being classified as an inactive guild and being deleted are as follows.
  • Guilds that have not had any members log on after May 2nd, 2020 at 12:00 AM UTC.
    
• Leaders of guilds that have been classified as inactive and have been deleted will receive a separate notice.
  
• If a guild to which the alliance leader belongs is classified as an inactive guild, the guild will not be deleted.

I realized I haven't actually introduced myself previously before I started my Pink Bean Bulletins last year. I guess I’ll start with that. I have been working on MapleStory behind the scenes for a while now working with SavageAce on the operational side of things since late 2017. I also worked with Anna while she was the Producer here, still on the operational side of things. This past year and a half, I’ve been working with SavageAce again, but this time with him as the Senior Producer and me as the Producer.*

With that, the MapleStory Team and I have a very difficult announcement regarding one of our beloved classes, Jett. After careful consideration, we have decided to disable Jett’s character creation after today’s maintenance, and remove Jett as a playable character around February 2024.

Jett is unique in that it’s a class that is available in Global MapleStory. This creates development challenges when we create future content suitable for all MapleStory regions. As new content needs to work for all of MapleStory’s 50+ classes, it adds complications when focusing on one region-specific class. Current Jett players may have noticed that new content sometimes contains bugs that only affect the Jett class, and these bugs can be difficult to resolve. Going forward we want to focus our development efforts on high quality content that can be enjoyed by all players, such as new content and features that will be released in the future. We’ll be sure to provide more details about these exciting updates through our continued roadmaps and Maple Memos. Making the decision to remove Jett from Global MapleStory was not easy, but we believe this course of action will allow us to provide a better service to you Maplers. We understand this news may not come easily to our passionate fans and existing Jett players, and we understand the concerns this may cause. While additional details are to come, we would like to provide an overview on expected changes.

We want to assure our existing Jett players that we have a plan in place to make this transition as smooth as possible for you. We will be hosting a Jett Job Transfer event during the summer peak season with the first half of our Savior update (tentatively scheduled for June), in which we will allow existing Jett characters to transfer their character to one of the other 15 Explorer classes as listed below:*

Additionally, any Jett characters that have not transferred to a new class by the time the winter update ends (tentatively scheduled for early 2024), will be changed to Beginners. More information about the Jett Job Transfer will be shared in a future post.

While keeping in mind Jett’s unique skills such as Legion Block and Link Skill, we have also planned additional compensation for existing Jett characters. Please see the details below.

Compensation for Each Jett Character that Completes the Jett Job Transfer Event

Each Jett character that is transferred will receive the following items.

In Bera, Scania, Aurora, Elysium, and Luna worlds, you can trade these style box items with other players through the Cash Item Trade window, if you haven't equipped them. Right-click on a character to see the menu and click on 'Trade Cash Item' button to trade unequipped PSSB items.

You can also exchange them with Ari, located near the Free Market entrance, and receive a Style Box Stamp. You can receive one stamp per item. This stamp is permanent and untradeable. When you collect enough stamps, you can talk to Shiro, also located near the Free Market entrance, to exchange the stamps for a permanent equip item of your choice! PSSB items obtained in the Netherlands cannot be traded outside of the account, but can be traded within the account and be exchanged for Style Box stamps.
