Let's see, a little about me..my name is Amy and I'm 19. Been playing MS since December of 06. xD I have 5 characters and I play four of them actively. :O My guildmates are cool and made me sign up here. The end.
"Shaun was pleased to tell me more about the content release scheduled for early August.
...
There are three new areas that will be available to play in:
Phantom Forest is a 45+ level area which is haunted. There, players will find a Haunted House, Headless Horsemen and Elder Wraiths among other monsters, and may encounter the boss, Big Foot. Shaun described the forest as a Forest of Illusion like Super Mario world.
Phantom Forest leads to Crimsonwood Mountains that is a 70+ level area. The first area you must navigate is the Valley of Heroes where huge living pillars of stone known as Menhirs roam. These critters cannot be killed and players must use their timing and jumping skills in true platformer style to get through them. Players will encounter six new enemy types here, and find a number of caves which are actually solo-able dungeons. Finally, they encounter level 120 Guardians which guard the way to the next area.
Crimsonwood Keep is the ruins of what was once a great thriving Keep where the finest Masterian heroes trained and learned their trade. Another level 70+ area and a massive map.
In total, there are 31 new maps, 11 new enemies and new weapons many which will be player created, and 12 epic quests, each with many steps and mini goals.
...
Finally, something that many players will probably appreciate, MapleStorys Naughty Word Filter is being revised to be smarter so that entire words will not be blipped out just because they contain several letters which may be a naughty word. Can almost 6 million users (in the US) be wrong? Its fun, its a grind, its a cutesy 2-D side scroller with a very distinctive art direction and its free to play."
I had a dream last night that I was in the LPQ bonus...
And was with my new Uber guild.
ANd a bunch of noobs were stealin' all the boxes.
And me and my guild were covering pre-box rules.
BUT ALL THE NOOBS WERE STEALING THE BOXES!
and all teh boxes dropped maple llama staffs.
And I REALLY wanted one.
I currently have a Linksys Model # WMP54G, Wireless PCI Adapter inserted into my desktop to receive internet signal.
The problem is every now and then a little message pops up, and it tends to close windows and just be annoying overall. I was wondering if Anyone could help me identify and fix the problem as it's starting to drive me up a wall.
He's a picture of one of the couple Errors i see, they all look the same, except the file name on the top is different.
Spoiler
Oh and I've reinstalled the actual card and the software but to no avail.
Every time I try downloading Monkey Story, it stops somewhere in the middle and it says this file could not be verified and it has the run button, I hit run and it tells me MonkeyStory16[1].exe seems to be corrupt, It worked the first time, and then I couldn't find it so I went and re-downloaded.
( this also happened while downloading the beta sugar rush )
So please please please, does anyone have a sollution to this?
You can go ahead and close this thread, my problem fixed by itself.
This is another one of my 'made up' jobs I amde a while back converted into Southperry format. Ever wondered why Nexon left thieves, bowman and pirates with two subclasses?
If there was a 3rd branch of thiefs, what do you reckon it would be?
Here’s my idea of what I think the 3rd thief subjob would be.
Brigand
Brigands are the most versatile thief class. They are capable of both melee and ranged combat with their damages balanced between their two counterparts. Their main choice of weapons is a set of throwing spears that can be used as both melee and ranged dependant on the monsters position. In fact, the damage they can deal throwing is equivalent to their melee attack unlike bowmen and assassins making them a unique class. However, their throwing attack speed is somewhat slower than assassins, in fact as slow as a spearmans attack balancing both these classes. Brigands have one main disadvantage because their throwing spears are equippable after level 30 thus they must either use claws or daggers as pre-brigands.
Javelin mastery
Increases the mastery of javelins and accuracy, along with the maximum number of javelins to recharge. It only applies when the character is throwing javelins.
Spoiler
Level 1: Javelin mastery 15%, accuracy +1, maximum number +10

Level 20: Javelin mastery 60%, accuracy +20, maximum number +200
Critical Throw
Enables the character to make a critical attack with throwing stars on a certain success rate.
Endure
Additional recovery for both HP and MP even while hanging still on a rope or a ladder. The higher the level, the faster the recovery time, along with recovering additional amounts of both MP and HP.
Spoiler
Level 1: Additional recovery of HP +3, MP +1 every 29 seconds
Level 10: Additional recovery of HP +30, MP +10 every 20 seconds
Level 20: Additional recovery of HP +60, MP +20 every 10 seconds
Javelin Booster
Use HP and MP to temporarily boost up the attacking speed of throwing javelins. It only applies when the character is equipped with throwing javelins.
Spoiler
Level 1: HP -29, MP -29; Improves claw speed for 10 seconds
Level 10: HP -20, MP -20; Improves claw speed for 100 seconds

Haste

Impale
This skill comes in two forms:
Melee: A stabbing attack that is somewhat similar to slash blast attacking up to 6 monsters and damage is reduced for every monster nearby.
Ranged: Like Iron arrow, the missile passes through monsters and damage is reduced for every monster that the spear passes through.
Damage applies to both melee and ranged.

Level 10: MP -50; Critical Damage 210% for 30 seconds.
Level 20: MP -60; Critical Damage 240% for 60 seconds.
Wyvern Sting

Level 30: MP -78; Damage 350%, 90% probability to stun enemy
Ronin/Bushido Knight
Note: Yes the name is kinda lame, I can't decide on a name for this 4th job class, lets see if you can come up with a better name.
Shadow Shifter
With great reflexes, enables one to avoid the monster's attack.

Level 10: MP -30, increases 20% of enemy's def, EXP, item drop rate.
Level 20: MP -40, increases 30% of enemy's def, EXP, item drop rate.
Level 30: MP -40, increases 40% of enemy's def, EXP, item drop rate.
Ninja Ambush
For a set period of time, a group of ninjas hiding around the bushes will periodically ambush up to 6 monsters at once.
Spoiler
Level 1: MP -16, Damage 62%, for 4 secs, attack range 110%

Shadowstep
Instantly teleports to a random monster on the screen nearby and deals massive damage Cooldown: 10 mins
Spoiler
Level 1: MP -120 , Damage 170%, Cooldown: 30 mins
Level 10: MP -100 , Damage 350%, Cooldown: 20 mins
Level 20: MP -80, Damage 450%, Cooldown: 15 mins
Level 30: MP -60 , Damage 550%, Cooldown: 10 mins
This skill is rather hard to explain, this skill when used teleports the user to the closest monster on the screen nearby which may seem like fly hacking except in a quick manner. This is a melee attack, not a ranged so keep that in mind.
Also if there are no monsters or if the monster is unreachable (eg. Coz it's flying in the air), nothing would happen and the skill would be simply wasted.
Equips
Javelins are equip items but they do have a certain number of stock on them except it is shown in the equip section of the inventory instead of the use inventory making it a unique weapon.

Overview
Yes some stuff are copied from other games and again I tried to change whatever I could so yea and I ended up with this.
Thank you for taking your time to read this and again, some constructive criticism and your vote would be helpful indeed =P.
Just wondering how many other people here have played anything from the Europa Universalis series made by one of the strategy genre's best developers - Paradox Interactive. I've noticed for such a good game, it is not really graphically intense and hence skips much of the hype it deserves.
List:
Europa Universalis I,II,III
Hearts of Iron 1,2
Crusader Kings
Victoria
Europa Universalis: Rome
I happen to have them all and their respective expansions except for Victoria: Revolutions, or EU:Rome. Anyone else a big fan of Paradox Interactive's games?
