Following our announcement about the Philosopher’s Book issue yesterday, we conducted an additional review internally and newly confirmed the two problems below.

1. April Fool's SSB Rewards Pre-Applied to 2025 Version

It has been confirmed that the rewards for the upcoming April Fool's SSB, scheduled to be sold on March 26 were pre-applied with the patch on March 19. While the box has not been officially sold yet, players in Heroic Worlds were able to obtain an April Fool’s SSB through the Philosopher’s Book. As a result, any April Fool’s SSB used after March 19 gave the 2025 April Fool’s rewards and the probability rates can be found through the following link. This does mean some players have gotten new April Fool’s items early.

If you have used an April Fool's Day SSB from March 19 to before this notice and you are not satisfied with the items you received, please contact Player Support and we will process the refunds according to our policy.

2. An issue related to Pet Equipment in Heroic World

Among the Pet Equipment is Lil Nezuko's Ribbon equipment, an item that does not change her appearance. While this is noted in the item tooltip, we understand that this has caused confusion for our players, particularly in Heroic Worlds. Since the item does not have any effect, we have decided to stop selling the Nezuko Pet Equipment in Heroic World.

If you purchased Lil Nezuko’s Ribbon in Heroic World and would like a refund, please contact Player Support and we will process your request after retrieving the item.

We understand there are many concerns in regards to the Philosopher’s Book and we would like to offer clarification.

After the server opened at 2:00 PM PDT on March 19, we found an issue where the Gachapon Ticket and the Philosopher's Book rewards were applied as part of the Demon Slayer Part 2 Cash Shop Update. This was corrected to Demon Slayer Part 1 Cash Shop at 4:08 PM PDT, about two hours after its release.

For more transparent information in regards to the differences between Part 1 and Part 2 Philosopher’s Book and Gachapon, we have added the Demon Slayer Part 2 Cash Shop Update to the probability pages.

• Gachapon Ticket: The "Demon Slayer" items released on the 3/19 list were also available at the time of the issue, but among the MapleStory items, Android, Chair, Mounts, and Damage Skin that were able to be obtained were for Demon Slayer Part 2 Cash Shop on 4/2, which was different from the one released.
  

We sincerely apologize for the lack of clarity and our initial response was insufficient. Players who used Gachapon Tickets and Philosopher's books between 2:00 PM and 4:08 PM PDT (approximately 2 hours and 8 minutes) on March 19th and are requesting refunds will be processed. However, we have confirmed that there was a situation in which we gave the wrong answer during the process of responding to the influx of a large amount of tickets. We apologize for the confusion caused by the conflicting responses.

Again, if you are unhappy with these additional items being in the rotation and the rates during this time, Player Support can assist you with refunds. Please be advised that response times may be affected due to the current high volume of support requests.

We apologize for the delayed response and we are taking immediate steps to rectify this and improve future processes so these situations do not occur and create a better MapleStory.

Auto-Harvest Profession System

Requirement: Lv. 101 and above characters who have learned Professions (Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 4).

Profession experts and researchers have come together to develop the Auto-Harvest system where you can obtain profession materials just by being online!

How to Participate

• Select ‘[Profession] Beginnings of the Auto-Harvest System’ from the Event List on the left side of the screen and click ‘Participate’ to start the quest.
  • Alternatively, accept the ‘[Profession] Beginnings of the Auto-Harvest System’ quest by talking to Testran located in Ardentmill.
    
• Complete the quest to unlock the Auto-Harvest Profession System
  

How to Use Auto-Harvest

1. Access the Auto-Harvest UI by clicking the ‘[Profession] Auto-Harvest System’ button from the Event List.
   • The UI displays:
     • Daily Auto-Harvest time
       • You will harvest automatically if you remain online.
         
       • You can auto-harvest up to 8 hours per day and the Daily Auto-Harvest time resets daily at 12:00 AM UTC.
         
     • Daily quests
       
     • Harvested items
       
   • The UI can be minimized!
     
   
   
   
2. Activate Auto-Harvest by clicking the ‘Start’ button, choosing a farm, then click ‘Select’.
   • You cannot change farms until the next day, so choose carefully!
     
   • Auto-Harvest runs in the background while in the game.
     
   
   
   
3. While Auto-Harvest is active, Herbs and Minerals are automatically gathered and stored in the Storage bay.
   • Click the ‘Claim’ button to retrieve harvested items once a day per account.
     
   • Manual harvesting is disabled while Auto-Harvesting is running. To resume manual harvesting, click the ‘Stop’ button to pause Auto-Harvesting.

• On the Character Creation screen, select the Tanjiro job and create the character.
  • Only one character with the Tanjiro job can be created per world.
    • If you delete a character with the Tanjiro job you are able to create another character with the Tanjiro job.
      
    • The appearance of characters with the Tanjiro job cannot be changed and items will not be reflected when equipped.
      
    • Some chairs and mounts are also unable to be used when on the character with the Tanjiro job.
      
  • Characters with the Tanjiro job will automatically switch to the Hero job at the end of the event with their level and items carried over. All mounts and chairs will be usable after switching to Hero and equipment appearances that were invisible on the Tanjiro job will appear as normal.
    
  • Characters with the Tanjiro job are unable to use Burning items like the Mega Character Burninator.
    
  • The Tanjiro Job will also not be able to participate in Mu Lung Dojo job rankings.
    
  • During the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba event, the Tanjiro job will have appearances such as hair/face/skin covered by Tanjiro’s appearance.
    
  • Tanjiro cannot sit in all chairs/beds in the Home and Guild Castle content.
    
  • Even when T-Boy’s Monitor is equipped, the hat will not display.
    
• When you reach certain levels with the Tanjiro job story quests will unlock which can be accessed from through the Event UI on the left side of the screen.

    • If mission completion is delayed, we ask you to please close and reopen the UI.
      
  • You can receive rewards after completing a mission by pressing the receive button at the bottom of the event UI.
    
• Within the Mission Journal you are tasked to defeat the weekly bosses in each row solo and once completed, you are able to obtain the rewards featured on the bottom of the event UI.
  • Mission Journal challenges will not count if defeated in a party of two or more players and must be completed solo.
    
  • You are able to complete the missions in practice mode.

Demon Slayer Corps Training Journal

Requirements: Lv. 101 and above (Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2) and if there is a character with the Tanjiro job within the same world. Characters with the Tanjiro job cannot participate.

Participate in Demon Slayer training every day and keep a training diary!

• Access the Event UI to accept and complete the “[Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba] First Encounter with the Demon Slayer Corps” quest.
  
• Accept the ‘Demon Slayer Corps Training Journal’ quest from NPC Kamado Nezuko in the event map or from the Event UI.
  
• Every week players are tasked to ‘Record Training’ to obtain rewards each time.
  
• You must meet ONE the following conditions to be able to ‘Record Training’:
  • Activate Zenitsu and Inosuke's Maple Expedition 3 times.
    
  • Get at least 300 points in the Demon Slayer Training Test.
    • Event will start on April 2 at 12:00 AM UTC.
      
  • Play the Coin Flip Challenge.
    • Event will start on April 16 at 12:00 AM UTC.
      
• You can record in the training journal up to 5 times per week, and it will reset at the same time as weekly bosses.
  
• You can receive rewards by pressing the ‘Receive’ button for the portion you recorded in your training journal.
  
• If you are unable to record a day in your training journal, you can record one day’s worth of training for 3000 Maple Points.

• Talk to NPC Kanao or use the Event UI to participate in the mini-game.
  • Time presses of the Interact/Harvest key inside the gauge area to earn points.
    
  • If you fail to place the marker within the gauge the mini-game will end.
    
  • You earn a maximum of 300 points when playing the mini-game.
    • You can continue to play the game even after accumulating 300 points and claiming the reward once a day.
      
• Once 300 points are obtained, talk to Kanao to receive EXP Voucher (x400): Tradable within world, 30-day duration.
  • EXP Vouchers can only be claimed up to 5 times a week and reset weekly every Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC.
    
• Obtain 3,000 cumulative points to receive a Gourd Training Test Chair: Tradable within world, Permanent.

How to Participate

• Use a Luxe Sauna Coupon to charge the Luxe Sauna room time!
  • Luxe Sauna Coupon: Tradable within world, 7-day duration.
    
  • Each coupon extends the time by 30 minutes and the charge time cannot exceed the event durations remaining time.
    
  • Coupons can only be used during the event period.
    

• Once the Luxe Sauna room is charged, either talk to Hotel Receptionist in Sleepywood Hotel or click 'Use the Luxe Sauna' from the Event List and press the 'Participate' button to enter the Luxe Sauna Room.
  • You will not have access to the Luxe Sauna room if there is no charges.
    
• While in the Luxe Sauna Room, receive EXP based on your level every 5 seconds.
  • Lv. 289 and above characters receive the same amount of EXP obtained at Lv. 289.
    
  • Burning characters can also participate in the event and receive EXP.
    

• The Luxe Sauna charge time is shared among all characters in the same account and only decreases while in the Luxe Sauna Room..
  • The time will not decrease when you leave the game.
    
• Check the remaining time by viewing the sign inside the Luxe Sauna Room.
